Now, he's wearing BANDAGES around his face (and head)!
@@night-x6793 Safelite can repair and replace the windshield.
But Safelite can't repair and replace STUPID!
@@davidharrison7014 Stupid is always replaceable because you can find stupid almost anywhere in the world lately.
This cop is a legend, protecting civilians and setting an example for the public
The individuals right to safety while doing something both dangerous and illegal is far less important than the obligation of the officer to protect the people who were using the area in a legal manner. In short to hell with the ATV driver, his full face mask tells you all you need to know about whether or not he knew what he was doing was wrong.
You have not "right" to safety unless you provide for yourself.
@@Somberdemure lol providing safety is pretty much the core foundation of government, it's why we have laws, military, and road signs
Absolutely wrong. Laws exist in a civil society for that reason and that atv driver was grossly ignoring them. It's all on him. In fact, he should be charged and probably will.
Tell that the the cops in Uvalde.
A lot of people want to know if the car will be ok
Yeah after they replaced the windshield lol
Situation was handled absolutely properly, famlies just passed and the high rate of speed the atv was going put them at high risk.
Everyone blaming the cop is stupid i hope yall never get a license
Seems reckless atv usage
The amount of people commenting already that didn’t even watch. The whole video is mind boggling. In the video, you can clearly see a bunch of pedestrians walking and somebody pushing a baby carriage directly in the path of the dude going like 50 miles an hour on a four wheeler…. my first thoughts would be oh my God he’s going to hit those people and then immediately probably do the same thing. For people saying attempted murder please get some brain cells…. this officer was preventing a possible vehicular manslaughter.
A lot of ATVs go down this road and never any accidents. You don't know the area. You're not from here.
Your the problem
I'm not defending the atv guy but a good rider has 100% control and you can easily go around people. I can almost guarantee the ATV guy would not of hit anyone unless the people also jumped in front of him like the cop did
Lol, thats the issue with a lot of people today, constantly living in and with anxiety, always immediatly asuming the worst.
Im really startin to see a pattern, and its not good
@@RideRedRacer Assumptions after assumptions, what if a toddler suddenly ran in his path? Its a PEDESTRIAN path for a reason, don't go using it and endanger others cause you don't know how to read signs or follow rules properly.
Atv driver should have been taken straight to jail for putting the public in danger
Once he’s out of hospital!
If this was the out come of the situation then it shows how important it was to stop him. Good job from the police. 👍
Unregistered vehicle. Not allowed on roadway. Speeding. Got it.
Look up the lawful definition in a lawful dictionary of vehicle.
@@nflores5433It's probably defined statutorily. And what is a "lawful" dictionary?

That ATV seemed like it was doing more than 25 mph. We all can learn something from this; "slow down in life so we all don't end up in windshields"
That 25 mph sign was faced away from the road because this is a PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY, no motorized vehicles allowed (except police patrols). The ATV was breaking the law just being there.
More like 70 or 80 mph. I own something very similar. They stop fast so to skid out like that buddy was well north of 60
Exactly why you don't speed in vehicles while on a pedestrian path
Cop was right. He can easily argue that he believed the ATV posed an imminent danger to the lives of the pedestrians. The ATV was traveling so fast he couldn't stop for a police cruiser in his way, what if it was a stroller?
I assume someone CALLED the police, which is why that officer would be Driving down a 'pedestrian walkway' in the first place.
That ATV may have been zooming past people for a While
*Also, that is the vehicle angle police use to stop a car going the wrong way in traffic...
That doesn't help. It means the guy hadn't hit anyone the entire time..
Just because you're driving 10 miles above the speed limit and haven't hit anyone doesn't mean you're not breaking the law and endangering peoples lives. If he couldn't see and stop for a car , he sure as he'll can't see stop for people smaller
@@nonyabusiness4151 ..yet.
Yes they were called.
@@johndomingo3151hahah if he was doing only 10 over maybe cop shouldnt have stopped him, but this dude was definetily going way faster
The speeding ATV wasn't bad enough, but the rider wearing a balaclava is suspicious!
How is he wearing that tasty dessert?
@@Ya-Kids-Topic ............. baklava is the dessert......... balaclava is the hood. You have internet to look these things up right?
As an honorably-retired police officer with a successful law enforcement career spanning 30 years, I approve of this video. 😂
Hope the cars ok, wish a quick recovery for it.
Reckless ATV rider.
This is the funniest thing I've seen all year especially the part where he chooses rag over helmet 😂😂😂
Brwn clwns
Love how it's a nice day out and this hoodlum had a full face cover ski mask on and gloves. Too many red flags with that dude.
I don't see anything wrong with the cops actions in this instance.
that’s what happens when you wear a shiesty in 2024
Just ignorant 😂😂😂
You would be impressed, all those kids want to looks cool
I guess he shouldn’t have been going too fast for conditions in an unauthorized vehicle.
Dude was speeding on a walkway where we literally just saw a family with a stroller... but we should feel bad for the guy on the ATV... nah, I don't think I will.
The ATV was not supposed to be riding in that pathway anyway. Have him pay for the windshield and any other damage to the cruiser
He was going way to fast this cop saved people from being hit 😮
Just waiting for someone to try and claim that the cop was attempting murder on the ATV driver about to kill potentially multiple families driving in the pedestrian lane designated for walking.
@@Ya-Kids-Topic yeah that may be the possibility. The backlash most likely come from the family of that ATV driver.
@@Ya-Kids-Topic an ATV is not a car. Police didn't manage well.
@@Ya-Kids-Topic there’s a guy called Kyle in every comment trying to claim the cop should be charged with attempted murder because the atv can brake for pedestrians

When you can’t chase those ATV clowns and you come up with another plan 😂
If he’s going that fast and can’t stop… imagine if he hit the families? Absolutely no reason for him to be on that path driving like that.
...on a stolen ATV...
How is it all ways the cops fault? What ever happened to ownership of your actions….
Personal accountability is RAYSIS! 😂
I was a passenger in a jeep on a desert road near the Bradshaw's in Arizona, when a guy came flying around dead man's curve and crashed right into the passenger front end of the jeep. It looked just like that with the same broken windshield and guy flying into the desert. I jumped out and ran down the embankment where he lay knocked out. He woke up and said he was fine, I stayed with him until the ambulance came, I wasn't injured. This video brought back some memories.
This is a pedestrian walkway. Who is the idiot on a speeding ATV?
Why was the pig on there with a car then?
I think the police were in the right on this one. Bro probably just saved people.
"critics say the officer could of used a different tactic to slow the ATV down" what??? , what other tactic could he have used.🤦♂
This is a new pit maneuver. Awesome job
Bruh that situation was handled MORE than properly
How is he facing any backlash? The guy is wearing a skimask in MAY. He knows what hes doing is wrong.
...on a stolen ATV.
The dude has a damn ski mask and gloves he knows what he is doing
The dude was absolutely flying, he deff would have hurt someone had the cop not stopped him.
Thank you officer for protecting those people from the reckless driver!
Police just saved a family from a crazy ATV driver
I'm with the Police on this one!
give him a speeding ticket also, sign says 25. He could've easily stopped at that speed, but he was trying to flee, soooooo
That face plant was epic.
That guys gonna have one hell of a headache, I wonder if they’ll still charge him if he’s a vegetable
i agree with the cop here - the atv would have been able to stop in plenty of time if he wasn't going so fast
You're wrong.
Really shouldn't have driven on the pedestrian walk way in the first place
@Shadowman-1960 No, you're wrong.
@@Shadowman-1960 You're slow. Actually slow.
That ATV rider was driving way too fast!😲
Damn he survived 😢
The ATV rider was breaking the law period
It is not his fault. He was only trying to get away with burglary. Why else would he have a ski mask?
Whoever said that they should use other tactics needs a reality check
The officer bravely prevented a horrible tragedy.
I feel bad for the windshield :(
The driver of the ATV was going too fast and wasn’t able to stop, just like that he could hurt the pedestrian.
