OMG you missed epic part at 4:08. Please watch it again. And btw, his performance improves each concerts. I think his latest performance at US is the best and you can clearly hear he was singing. Seoul was their first concert for Love Yourself tour so this was the first time he performed live.

squishgguk no contemporary, he did many years of 현대무용 which means contemporary dance in korean and also went to a arts school in Busan in his high school year and majored in contemporary dance and he was the only boy in that genre
His face is so angelic when he did that move with his hand. It looked so pure 💜 jimin is art. Seriously, i get mesmerized by his beautiful dancing. His expression and smooth moves convey so much power and emotion that your eyes can't move from him. How is ut possible for a human to be so perfect? I think park jimin isn't human lol

You can tell that it’s not all lip synced, but this specific performance in Seoul is definitely mostly the studio recording. You can tell by the way it sounds. Jimin’s live singing of these types of songs are imperfect and his notes crack the slightest bit often, giving a sense of desperation or pain, which is probably what he is trying to convey. You can see it in his dance too. The LA performance was live (I loved that performance a lot). The only part that wasn’t live in that stage was when he was on the ground (and you could see he focused more on the dance there, than singing). The way his body moved at that part would’ve made it nearly impossible, if not impossible, to get those notes out in a smooth, clear manner. Not because he’s a bad singer, but because of human anatomy.
People might attack me for saying this, so first off: *_I am an ARMY as well_*
It’s not bad to say that they lip sync in some performances. Don’t get upset and please keep reading. The boys don’t make lip syncing a common practice. You can tell that they try to sing live as much as they can, but they’re humans and with the difficulty levels of practically all of their choreographies, you can’t expect them to be able to sing everything live. This performance in the video is not completely live and that is *okay* because we know he’s capable of doing it live. At this time, they would have been practicing a lot in preparation for the world tour and for that week of promotion they were doing. I assume that’s why that performance wasn’t live. He might’ve been exhausted or perhaps needed to save energy for another stage, but it’s okay that it’s not 100% live 100% of the time. He can perform it live and he does in the later concerts.
let me clarify. Hes definitely not singing during the WHOLE performance. Or the majority of it.

They train very well and very hard, there are videos of a camp they did in the USA a long time ago. That's why they dance and sing, they work a lot on that.
