- This rare classic tractor was built in Ontario, Canada by the Cockshutt company. The E2 CO-OP, owned by Keith Larson of Minnesota, who prizes his Cockshutt and CO-OP tractors. His E2 is nearly identical to a Cockshutt 20. Keith and his Dad both farmed with these tractors, and his CO-OP is powered by a 4-cylinder Continental engine that delivers about 25 horsepower at the drawbar.

My dad bought the 1951 Co-op E3 because of the live PTO running the AC round baler.
Oh yes. Classic vintage Canada tractors. We had the Cockshutt 30 as a chore tractor. Bullitt proof , never died.

There is an antique tractor pull in picture butte Alberta June 3. Should try make it out that way.
Correction the E2 or Cockshutt 20 is the only model that Cockshutt made that had no live power take off only the larger models had them like the 30, 40, 50 Cockshutt's

The Cockshutt tractors are the Canadian versions of Oliver's
that is true however Cockshutt did make their own line of tractors from the mid 1940s till around 1960 or 1962 when they where bought by White
Cockshutt did not build their own tractors until 1947. They purchased tractors from Oliver first as Hart Parrs then as Olivers both in the red Cockshutt livery. Hart Parr & Oliver were also sold in Canada at the same time. So you bought from the dealer who gave you the best deal.

I've seen Cockshutts but never a Co-op.
I never had until a month ago when I was looking at a property for sale and one was sitting along the fence line overgrown weeds and trees around it. At first I thought it was an AC but closer inspection I realized I had no clue what it was until I did some internet research. Kinda hope I get the property it's a in a foreclosure sale and I have 5 more days to wait.
