If they had said "there was a guy here an hour ago taking pictures from the public footpath but he is gone now" they would not have shown up' Mostly burglaries are reported after the burglar is long gone and there is little prospect of catching them, so showing up is not very useful. I reported someone in my driveway trying to open my car door. No one came because they were long gone. I did send them the security camera footage though so they know what they look like should they be seen in the area again. They would then have a reason for a "stop and account".

22:30 Cop says they turn up for every call. Liar. They prioritise calls. So a burglary gets a response within 24 hours at best but, possibly by phone with just a crime reference. A man with a camera at a business gets a response within minutes.

This video infuriates me on so many levels, I recently moved from Liverpool due to harassment, one of those times let to someone breaking into my home and attempting to attack me, it took them 2 days to respond because it wasn't a "priority"... someone filming however is and they're there in minutes.. Merseyside police is a disgrace.

This tells people to switch their phone to 'Man Down' - if your phone stops moving (tracked by GPS) for a set amount of time (set in the app) - an alarm goes off in some control centre or office to alert them that there's a man down.

I think those phones also have a motion sensor as GPS only would be not accurate enough. Sometimes you need to stay in one place e.g. to fix stuff but are still very well alive. But in case you do no longer move your body because you become unconscious, the phone will send an alarm and the location, often combined with acoustic alarm to alert people nearby.

Don’t you just love how the police are really clever, they pretend to be stupid and ignorant but underneath that veneer of lack of knowledge and uncertainty about drone laws they are like coiled springs, ready to reveal just how they are truly on the ball, I haven’t seen them do it yet but I’m still hoping.
The guys said the police would know the drone laws, but the police admitted I probably knew more than them. The fact I didn't fly it until after they left was an experiment, I want to see if they were going to try any drone legislation and assume I'd flown it already
And if they rang up and said they'd been burgled it'd be 45 days before the police would turn up to investigate minimum
