- Urban India generates 62 million tonnes of waste (MSW) annually, and it has been predicted that this will reach 165 million tonnes in 2030. Dumping waste is the most unscientific & unsustainable way of managing waste.
What we need is a robust & efficient system along with people who are willing & able to manage such a huge operation. Municipalities across India have failed, & there is no hope for them to suddenly improve.

In few days I go to start a startup in we can't take money with anyone but we encourage him to sagregate the waste and for money depend on his soul faith what they want to give or not I have need to earn money because now I am 16 years old and I have need to improve my nation improve the motherland my mother land our motherland that motherland

मैं तो गीले (विघटीत)कचरे का कंपोस्ट करता हू पर यह सब नागरिक करने लगेगे तो कचरा उठाने वालो बस सुका समस्या रह जायेगी जीसका निवारण करना आसान हो जायेगा ।

Why there is no waste segregation in Indian states I don't understand 😕 Indore has been declared as a cleanest city why can't other states become the same. I'm researching deep down regarding this issue and I'll find out a solution for it so. Because we have to take action before it's too late for us. We as a youth have to think how we can solve this problem, if you agree with me please reply with some ideas to tackle this issue. Because ek ke karne se kuch fark nahi padta magar ek ek krne se fark zaroor padta hai.
Thank you sir for this video though it's just a problem centric video, but still happy to see that at least you are concerned about mother nature. Because people around are least concerned about this issue they're just focusing on consumption and only bothered about their enjoyment of their life.

The main problem is, this system is very outdated and not organised properly.......mainly we need more MRF with advanced technology for segregation of waste properly and at the same time spreading awareness about it is also much important....because our society have nil knowledge about waste segregation and management of it.
I watched many videos and read some articles, i found that Indian waste management system is poor, on an average only 20-25% of the waste is segregated, in some states it is less than 20%, and according to recent reports India should focus on waste management industrys because India is growing rapidly and it's waste management system is outdated and unorganised.

Thank you Salman. I am not up to date on steps taken or announcement by govt. under this scheme.
If govt, under this scheme is processing waste along with its collection, I believe that will work very well in long run. Just transporting waste to a dumping site will create waste crisis down the line.

Under you are composting your bio waste, segregation karke koi fayda nahi hai jab tab municipal cooperation segregation karke na rakhe waste. Agar ek hi truck mai dono waste jaa raha toh source pe kaisa bhi ho its of no use. Actually we all can demand segregation of waste wala system and then encourage people to either compost if possible at various level - home, society etc. Or else segregate at home properly. Btw, everyone can try to contact kabadiwala where he will take plastic, glass and paper alag se. Don't take any money if you don't want, but isse jyada chances hai for waste to be recycled as it is already segregated according to type.
