Just Dance Academy, which still exists, is known as one of the best hip hop academies to take classes. Jimin studied, performed (since age 12) & competed (winning every competition) in hip hop, way before studying & performing contemporary dance or attending the Busan Highschool of the Arts!
Jimin can do Krumping, that shot was him Krumping and acting like Hulk, his favorite super hero at that time. Those pinches hurt, you can tell he was trying not to scream. Most of these clips was when he was younger from Rookie King, Run BTS episodes, and American Hustle Life.

Yes!! Jimin was trained in Krumping. Jimin first attended the Just Dance Academy since age 11, which only teaches the so many many different styles of hip hop! This was while still also going to middle school. Where he was part of the football team, excelled at track, great at basketball, as well as billiards. Jimin was so good that an instructor at the Busan Just Dance Academy even offered to waive the quite high tuition fee to attend. This was all before Jimin whenThis to the Busan Highschool if the Arts. Jimin started studying & performing contemporary only after first studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition) in hip hop! So frustrating to hear and see so many ppl still believing that Jimin was just studied contemporary dance when Jimin actually spent way more yrs studying & performing hip hop, even at age 12 Jimin was on stage dancing hip hop!!

❤️JIMIN, at age 11-12 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!!
JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. I think what you are trying to say is when you say Jimin is intelligent, he is diligently working toward bettering himself all the time. Humans only use a small percentage of their brains. Jimin is intelligent because he is not only book smart, top of his class in all subjects but he uses parts of his brain for dance, traditional Korean, contemporary, hip hop, krumping and a variety of martial arts. He's also studying languages, Mandarin, Japanese, English and most likely other languages. To top it off he is in a master's program majoring in the entertainment industry. Oh and he is a K-pop idol. He's also a philanthropist and truly cares about his BTS members, staff and family. All of them are amazing and are not just focused on being K-pop idols but are multitasking within their lives. The rest of the world took a little break during the pandemic but BTS continued to work tirelessly because they knew ARMY needed them more than ever during this pandemic. I understand you. I also understand this phenomenon called "the jimin effect" I saw him playing Just Dance" with Jin and Suga. My daughter's were watching them. Jimin was wearing a black and yellow plaid shirt, black t-shirt and jeans. I was passing through the LR with laundry and his smooth moves caught my eye. I asked my eldest who the guy in the black and yellow plaid was and she said Jimin. I thought Wow! He's a dancer! On another day, my point of no return, I was doing dishes, kids were watching CZcams videos of bts. "Am I wrong" came on and when jimin hit those notes I broke a cup (my favorite) and screamed at my girls who just sang? My daughter yelled, "jimin!" I literally had tears in my eyes. I find it a bit amazing as well as a bit sad how army many who apparently are still misinformed and still know so little info about Jimin tend to offer incorrect, not accurate misleading information about Jimin! some reactors really over react that I don't trust that much but when you said how can't tou react to Jimin in that way, I feel you. Everytime I see him I always have this awe reaction, others might misinterpret it like I want to mary him or something but no, I just can't believe he is real most of the time.. he so so talented, he has a great personality and he looks so good. He looks so ethereal, I always got the feeling to draw him or make an art base on him, when he dance, his dance line is perfect like sculpture, its full of grace and his voice is just angelic. And everyday I wonder if I'm the only one who see him like this. He is like someone I aspire to be but I know I will never be.

Jimin also went to hip hop camps and was trained in hip hip as well. So yes he was taught that and learned it for years in hip hop and crump and all that. He also would dance with jhope in sessions to fresh up on his skills . So yes jin was skilled in crumping and hiphop already

I started to really learn it back in 2019, when I was 13, now I’m 16 and I think I can speak pretty good english even if I still make mistakes
but I understand more than I speak (? if that makes sense ?), what I mean by that, is that I watch videos in english and I understand everything, but I’m not very good at speaking it, I’m doing great but yeah, you get what I’m trying to say 😅
