- IM BACK, with the next part of my journey on Warframe. This game's difficultly went from 1 to 100 really quick.. or I'm just bad. Plus the vibe went from 1 to 100 really quick.
Hope you enjoy!

welcome to warframe, where the geneva convention is a to do list
The community tend to be *very* friendly, soon you might receive more Warframes or weapons. As nice as this gesture sounds, you should try not to accept them as these gifts take away from your experience. It is ideal to accept just Orokin Catalysts, Orokin Reactors, and Forma. Oh and slots too, thanks august.
slots. He's gonna get a bunch of slots, and should accept all of them lol. I agree with warframes and weapons tho, gotta farm a couple for yourself first
The game will be available in iOS in this February.
Edit: No one asked, but just want to let ya know. 😫

Hello, I'm a veteran warframe player for +6 years with +4,000 hours under my belt. It's really refreshing to see new people join thy community and highly enjoying themselves. Can't wait to see more!
I got three pieces of advice for you: 1) I can tell you have not modded anything you have so far. So mod your weapons and warframes the next chance you got. You can greatly increase your power and survival by doing that. Easily double your damage with that basic rifle with a few simple mods. You can also heavily customize the appearance of your warframe, weapons, and (eventually) companions. You can upgrade through endo, so keep an eye out for that.
2) Join a clan. If not for the sense of comrades, then for the new weapons, warframes, and gear you can only craft there.
3) Have fun. Seriously, go nuts with all your stuff and find out how you want to play. There are over 50 unique warframes and many more weapons, so you got lots of options. Have fun discovering more of Warframe!
Thanksss☺️
@@DaRealLloydyjoin a clan with max reasearch, or at least close to max because you can get blueprints to warframes, weapons, and resources from the clan labs
the archwing launcher isn't actually the archwing (It's used to summon it in the plains) You'll get the archwing quest later by progressing through the starchart
I wish this was something DE did better because it confuses so many new players. All of the people I’ve introduced to the game think that’s what gives them the archwing and spend a bunch of time trying to get those materials just to not have the segment to finish it.
What? De not explain something for new people? Not them...
😂😂
The warframe community is honestly S tier (ive been playing warframe for 3 weeks)
It's definitely one of the positives of the game - I've been playing about 6 years and one of my first experiences of this was asking how to get a mod and someone just gave it to me; still sticks with me.
indeed it is, at times there will be toxic people, but they're simply mad for the smallest things so don't pay any mind to them :) - 2015 player here!
Its mostly S tier (ive been playing for 2 years)
Been playing for years, I like giving stuff away just so other players can pass it forward as well
In the middle of the video, the reason you were doing so little damage is because of the enemy with the floating shields around it
It's called an Eximus, which are enemies with different abilities, this one in particular gives nearby enemies *heavy* damage reduction; always target them in priority
Also, since it's the third video & you still haven't done it, you can change the appearance of your frames & gears in the arsenal
& while you're there, don't forget to mod your stuff, it's the most important part of the game
THEY GIVE DAMAGE REDUCTION?!
@@CrowInAHat Yup, a cool 90%. Doesn't affect themselves though, and it doesn't work on bosses, capture targets and demolisher units in disruption.

In warframe modding is a super important mechanic cuz if you don't mod your warframe or weapon you're basically weaker than a wet towel my advise on early game moding is use basic mods like serration to increase your weapon dmg but later on start mixing mods together to make them more powerful
Oh boy the starting journey of a brand new tenno, wouldn't miss this for anything
Lavos was a great idea for a gift to give, and I’m really glad you’re still keeping it real and not overpowering yourself.
Ok I watched a bit longer while typing this out and I feel spited
Also a good gift idea given that i dont believe we’ve seen them use a single ability since the tutorial

If you keep the right click in the air you start keep flying in the air, that helps you travel great distances in the air like the one in minute 6:11
Aim gliding is super helpful for travel that way, plus you can use it to slow you down when falling, ao that you don't hit the ground hard and have to take a second to stand back up.

Warframe veteran of 8+ years here! Welcome to this amazing game and community. It gets harder and harder as you progress through the game but keep going. Warframe has one of the most interesting story of all the games I’ve played. And the weapon modding, customization, and overall freedom and variety is second to none. Apart from all of that EVERYTHING is free and all updates/expansions are also free to play. I hope you stay here with us for a while🙌🏽
I edited the comment cause it had a mistake and the heart went away why is that a thing smh😭
Added it back!!
Would say it actually gets easier as you progress due to the newer equipment to get.
@@koronx058 well I meant more towards the beginning stuff and quests but once you get to mid/late game IF u have good equipment it can get easier but not everyone gets the op gear. Warframe is all about gear progression/upgrading and everyone does it differently. So it can get easier or harder it all depends on the person who’s playing.
Theres so many things you say when i watch you play where i audibly go “well about that…”
Warfame is great in that when you run into a wall in some front, the game has usually opened up another two or three fronts where you can make progress, learn more of the game and get stronger. After a little bit of that, the next time you try to run into that wall, it breaks or at least cracks, showing you how to get past it.
After a while, you realize there are so many ways to get stronger and abuse some mechanics that even an old noob like me can have fun with the harder bosses.
18:45 the MK-1 weapons are actually worse than their counterparts. Still use them up to level 30 for mastery though. The higher mastery you get, the more weapons you’ll get to craft and try. Higher mastery weapons are much better. When you get to Mastery level 8 I will give you a weapon called the Cedo if you’d let me, it’ll make a night and day difference in your damage output :)
Good thing to note is that all the mk1 weapons dont have to be built however, buying for credits instead
Yep. The mk-1 used to be the ones you got in the intro quest, but recently that got changed and now you can only buy them for credits for completions sake
Mk1 Bo is a sleeper stat stick, lol come at me 😂
I wouldn't mind a cedo if you get what I'm saying 😉😉😉
I've been playing warframe for about 8 years and I can say that you do move around warframe really well for a new player. Usually it takes a lot longer for people to get used to the movement in the game
Maybe he’s playing on controller? I usually use keyboard and mouse for my games but warframe feels so much better on controller
@@wa_________ge3254 he is as during the first video in the tutorial you can see that the button promos are controller buttons. Though tbh I much prefer mouse and keyboard to play warframe
@@wa_________ge3254No, definitely playing on a keyboard and mouse. I’d say controllers make the movement harder.
@@wa_________ge3254It definitely feels tailored for controllers. One nitpick is that you can't use the slam trick on controllers to reliably send yourself flying, so keyboard is better in that aspect.
@@Nfsm255Funnily enough I prefer Keyboard and mouse Lol, I only use a Controller when I'm on Switch.
He is definitely using Controller by the way, based on how his cursor moves among other things
Oh no... the pain of hearing him go "Mk1? I bet that's better "
For reference in the far past of... 2 years ago. Those used to he the tutorial weapons you were meant to swap out of and into their normal versions before reaching Mars.
Just a little FYI about the Archwing
To actually make the wings you need to do the creatively named quest "The Archwing" which you don't unlock for like another planet or so.
The thing you we're trying to craft at 4:00 is an archwing **launcher** which let's you activate your wings in the open world areas, course you need to actually have wings before that becomes useful lol.
ahhhh righttt, thanksss!
The Fortuna intro and another soundtrack you will get to later are my favorites! I love it. We all lift together!
A couple things, first off if you search for mk1 in the market shop area you can find starter weapons you can purchase for credits (not the premium currency) and you get those weapons fully built and ready to use, unlike everything else where you have to craft them. I recommend the strun shotgun!
Second, you may want to turn gifts off or ask people directly not to gift you warframes, because it CAN ruin your experience to just get handed stuff like that. Boosters, decorations, weapon slots etc never hurt your progression but being gifted frames can a bit. It's obviously up to you of course if you want that i just don't recommend it as the point of the game is to collect stuff and grow your power
As a MRL4 (MRL3 at the time) veteran, It was impossible for me to understand the struggles that new players had in my alliance.. So I made a new playthrough account using only what new players have access to. What helped me the most was the entire Carnis mod set (3 mods for frame, pistol and melee) from Deimos and the Xoris you get at MR5 from Teshin. Using just those things and maximum effort, I got through the entire system to Steel Path in 22 days. It was a little more involved than that but the Carnis mod set when all 3 are equipped, gives you invulnerability for about 50% of the time from melees. It was a life saver since I didn't have access to all the things you get from playing for years. Just a friendly suggestion, you are doing great! Keep up the good work and welcome to where I spend my non-working and non-sleeping hours :)
One thing, always remember to rank up EVERYTHING to level 30.
Also, ypu can customize and color ypur warframe and orbiter and everything
This is great content. I'm a 9 month veteran that started gaming with Pong. My friends and I play every day and have a blast. I laugh because I relate to so much of this. Love this game

I know these are kinda old videos at this point but the new player experience to this game is a precious thing. I’ve been playing this game for almost 10 years now and I love seeing people experience it for the first time. Don’t let anyone ruin that first time experience for you, there’s only one “first time experience”
it's so interesting to see someone experience this game for the first time and seeing their reactions
Ahhhh, Fortuna. Lovely joint.
I’d definitely recommend waiting until you’re a little bit more geared/modded up to return to the Vallis, because many of the enemies there, as you have just found out, are right menaces.
The hatchet dudes in particular. Ugh.
And as @cut_content mentioned, keep an eye out for Eximi and pick them off the first chance you get. Some of them, including the shielding guy, can be right bastards if left to support the ranks.
-Platinum!! - best way to spend it straight away is either: 1 warframe slot then a weapon slot. Or 2 weapon slots. I'd advise 2 weapon slots for now. Where to buy them? - The marketplace in Orbiter.
-As someone who is not near Vet level, but I have over 300+ days on the game, I'm on Steel Path, a dozen frames etc. And I love watching new people play and experience the EXPERIENCE that is this very well done FRE-TO-PLAY GAME! Amazing how it came out similar time to GTA 5.
A side note: I did get a bit annoyed a few times when your friend was being loud & obnoxious during the cutscenes or dialogue parts only. Good story & info s being told, don't want you to miss it.
Thank you for continuing this game, it's a blast watching you play this beloved game

hey broski, glad you're having fun! Little tip is make sure to focus on mods, as later on u WILL NEED THEM! you think game going 1-100? nah this is 1-30. It WILL get harder later on. Also glad you are liking the game. i do love the custcenes and they get better and better the further in the story you go :)
Generally everythings viable up to like level 20-30ish after that mods are defs needed
Of all the things I was expecting, a Section 8 reference was NOT one of them. As a multi-year Warframe player, welcome!
If you ever need help with anything in this game give us a shout. I have way too much time on the game and in my hands so honestly. I’d love to assist wherever possible 👏👏 I love seeing a new tenno’s journey
Same here, we veteran players get WAY too much enjoyment out of helping new tenno xD
Great video :)
Some tips!
1.) MK-1 weapons are mastery fodder - Effectively free trial versions of their better counterparts which require a bit of grinding. Good for account XP, but useless overall.
2.) Put some mods on your weapons. Those mods can also be upgraded (Things get a bit insane)
3.) You will always need slots.
4.) Experiment with different weapons. Weapons are more "feel" than "X weapon is good". Any weapon can be upgraded to ludicrous levels with various things you get later on - It just depends on what you prefer to use. There are a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of weapons to experiment with.
5.) When you're in the air, look down and melee attack - It's a faster way down and there's no fall damage.
6.) Double-tap shift to roll (You can also do it in the air) - You can also do this just before you hit the floor to cancel the impact, or instead convert the fall into a slide by holding duck just before impact.
7.) The movement system can also get complex. It's pure player skill, and you can do some amazing things with practice (The bullet jump, slide, bullet jump combo is good to start with) - Later on when you're reverse aerial-rolling to momentum cancel, you'll never be able to go back to many other games where you feel grounded.
If you haven't watched it yet - czcams.com/video/-VuYCLelIO8/video.html - It's a fantastic video showcasing player progression :p
you can equip the k-drive launcher you got to your gear wheel so you can summon the hoverboard in any free roam mission
A little bit of lore you'll only find if you dig real deep and search the caves of Venus: Biz called the repo men on Thursbe. He deliberately got that boy brutally mutilated to the very brink of death to push Eudico back into action.
the callout of 9 was the last thing I was expecting to hear in a warframe video
Just so you know, you can disable gifts from strangers in the menu.
The community can be sometimes... too generous in that aspect.
Also, the gun you bought, the mk-1 is worse then the Braton you had. you can compare stats by clicking on it, if you want to deal higher damage,
well that big shield dude in that defense mission actually shields other enemies, eximus units are ones you want to take down immediately.
Otherwise modding your weapon would be good, you can upgrade mods of your selected weapon in the bottom right, or put new ones on the weapon if you gained any.

I will!
Not sure if you know this, but Neff Anyo's cloths are actually made from Credits, the currency of the game. He literally has cloths made out of money that he wears
Cory (guessing the spelling) being MR 1 and having already bought Voruna and a Mag skin is crazy lmao, thank you for funding the game o7
Just a quick tip, the warframe your playing is very good for melee because all his abilities either allow you to close distance, make openings to attack, do an aoe if you get surrounded, and his last one just gives you a sword made of light
Hey so about your MR as well (Mastery Ranking):
-You won't level up your player if u DON'T do the test so please do then whenever you get the chance. BUT. Look at the bottom right of screen when u press on the test cos u can do a practice test. As if u fail Actual test, u need to wait 24hrs before doing it again. Yep it sucks.
About Mods:
-As you will learn soon you can mix and match and upgrade mods. You can combine different elemental mods to do specific elemental damage (cold + toxin = viral damage for example I believe). And I know it can be a bit of a drag, but when u equip mods, u can look to left of page at the stats shown, hover over it, and it shows what damage to enemies its better at dealing.
Your Abilities:
-Yay your using them more. For example here a 20:40 a good way to handle situations ur getting gangbanged is by - flashing them with 2, then dealing wide group area damage with 3 to heavily weaken or kill them. Works better against Grineer as they have armour not shields.
Another kick ass video. I can definitely tell you're really starting to enjoy it, and I'm glad to see you're invested in figuring out how everything works on your own. Getting gifts is nice, warframe's community is special like that. But I definitely respect the hell out of you for making the most of it.
Those weapon and warframe slots will certainly come in handy tho!
And like a lot of the other comments.. 'Modding' your equipment--your warframes, weapons, and even things like your Parazon (the thing that lets you hack) and eventually your Archwing can all be modded to do all kinds of shit--Increase damage, increase defense, make your abilities use less energy, reach farther, change the elemental type of your damage, ect!
Mods can be 'improved', with the 'fusion' option in your mods menu. Using credits and Endo, mods can be upgraded (Think of it like masterworking a weapon in Destiny!) To improve its stat benefits. Each tier gets exponentially expensive, but copper and silver mods aren't too expensive, especially if they only support 3-5 upgrades.
As mods are upgraded, their cost increases too. As weapons level, their capacity goes up. Default is 30, so a few upgraded mods can eat thru that pretty quick. The way around this is to slot mods into slots that have matching symbols, called Polarity. Lines with Lines, triangles with triangles, v's with v's, ect :) This halve's the cost of a mod, so if a mod uses 12 capacity, it instead would only need 6, giving you a lot more room to slot in more mods and increase your damage!
best of luck, tenno!
All of that makes me understand alot more, thanksss😊
Great video! I remember my first time in Orb Vallis and man was it a tough one. Keep raising your Mastery Rank, the higher your MR the more weapons you have available to you but in my opinion more importantly is the amount of mod capacity you have on the new weapons you use. Mod capacity is tied to your Mastery Rank meaning at MR2 you now have 2/2 while at MR15 you’ll have 15/15 and so on. It makes leveling your guns a bit easier as they won’t be doing unmodified base damage anymore, you’ll be able to slap on a damage mod right out the gate with it unranked which makes all the difference.
This is gonna sound really weird, but I'm really happy you're sticking with the game and seem to be enjoying it! xD
Also, in case nobody has said it yet, Star Days is the Valentine's Day event (active until the end of February!)
Another thing, if you see "Gift from the Lotus" or something like that in alerts, those are limited time easy missions for quite a bit of a reward!
Honestly this is one of the best Warframe series I've seen, in humor, editing, and of course skill :)

Crusty old LR3 player here who is in the process of unlocking the last couple of weapons. I'm kind of jealous because I really miss the feeling of explorations and discovery from the early days :(
on cetus, the easiest way to earn standing is by unlocking the tranq dart on fortuna.
each animal you catch gives you a bunch of standing. you can either do the step by step process of following tracks (they are marked on the map when holding the tranq rifle) or find the ones that are just wandering around freely.
thank youuu!
So happy to see that you’re actually playing through this, welcome to the community, you’re gonna love this game so much
Love the expected reaction on that spider boss
You earned a follow on twitch and a subscription here. When I first started playing Warframe again on what became my main account I purchased Hildryn early. Even though your power gain in the game isn't linked directly to what Warframes you had and is instead linked to the mods and additional equipment you have with your Warframes and weapons, Hildryn absolutely carried me through the entire starmap, only having some difficulties due to the playstyle of the warframe and it's ability power at the time. So I can absolutely respect you deciding to not use Lavos right away. I do recommend grinding for new warframes that become accessible due to assassination missions that you feel you might enjoy. Excalibur is an amazing warframe, but since the game is so open ended with how you are allowed to play it, trying out new warframes and learning new playstyles can be very enjoyable.
also ignore the platinum price-tag on all of the guns in the arsenal. when you click "purchase" on them there will be an option to buy a blueprint most of the time
Or it tells you where to find it, either clans or certain quests/bosses
You can customize your ship by going to: Esc menu -> equipment -> orbiter -> Appearance and landing craft options (one is inside the other outside, and you can also put decorations in that menu)
Can’t wait to see Lloyd get to the cinematic quests
just found u bc my youtube found out i played warframe and saw your twitter with arthur as the cover and i am so happy you love it like a lot of us do! and i'm glad you enjoyed tenno con :)
I'm enjoying watching you play man, from the begginers i've been watching you're the only one who's understanding the game early on. If i could recommend something, play the game at your own pace, there's no hurry in Warframe.
With Cetus and now Fortuna completed, you're well on your way to understanding the sporadic citizens surviving tucked away on planets, and the up-and-coming empires dominating the system after the fall of the Orokin Empire. I know the comments are filled with vets happy to share advice, so I hope you don't mind if I toss you another tip. Some missions, standard missions and faction (Cetus/Fortuna/etc.) missions can give multiple rewards when you play them, or different random rewards. Hunting and farming (replaying) these missions for their different rewards is rewarding yes, but also time consuming. Conversely, running at a breakneck pace across the chart will move you yes, but it might leave your loadout a little bare or haphazard. There's no need to run full tilt to something, but there also isn't a need to worry too much about missing something. Just don't forget, nothing ahead of you is going anywhere. It's up to you how soon you want to be there and/or how prepared you are when you get there.
14:45 the reason you were dealing so little damage, and likely taking so much in return, was because of that guy. his shield guards all his nearby allies for 90% damage reduction to projectiles. you need to take them down whenever you seem them. You'll see "guardian eximus" like him occasionally when fighting corpus, so be sure to target them down quickly, preferably with melee if you can get in there. since his shields don't block pathing or melee swings but completely nullify projectiles if you don't thread the needle or just shoot from above on him where the shields aren't.
Probably easiest way you'd have is to press 2 on him after you break his "overguard" (the white border around his health when he first appeared. Eximus "overguard" health prevents them from being stunned or otherwise CC'd while it's up) and then get him with a finisher for big ez damage. (radial blinded enemies can be finishered)
17:00 I love "slingshot moas" as I used to call them. They hit hard. when I was new and fortuna had just come out, I had so much trouble being one shot by them and send flying by their kicks. hence "slingshot". _I was being slingshotted._ you just died to the lingering electrical status effect proc from their crippling electrical tether they use to launch themselves at you tho. xD
As a vet of the game, I can tell you our content creator field is kinda dry. It's mostly made up of a few meme guys and 90% build videos. So anytime we get a new creator checking out of the game we love to hype them up! You definitely have a place in the community if you want it. We'll keep supporting your creations! The biggest downside is that people like gifting to creators in this community... So you might be getting some more in your inbox at some point 😂
Man gets hoverboard, Tony Hawk Pro Skater Music begins LOL
It is so awesome to watch you play this game, it's great to see new people play
Here’s another tip, from what I saw in the spy mission : When you jump on a wall you regain the ability to bullet jump, sometimes the collision just won’t let you jump up. In those moments, it’s better to just jump backwards then bullet jump over the wall.
I apologise that I can’t get you a gift.
The gift I want to give isn’t gameplay changing, I just heard something like “I wonder if I can wear their outfit” when you fought the Corpus.
@@Sparket Its all good brother, if people can gift great but I ain't gonna beg hahah
My advice is to not get too caught up in the open world locations until you progress the star chart a fair bit.
By then you'll have more equipment, mods and warframes to make them easier and you'll have smoother progression through these areas.
Also how much standing you can earn each day is directly related to your mastery level, which you increase by leveling up weapons, warframes etc. For the first time.
Welcome to the community and I hope you enjoy the game :)
It used to be worthwhile for getting a decent Amp as early as possible, and when they were first added the zaws and kitguns were undeniably the best in game, but a few quests make it kinda irrelevant - if I was to start a fresh account (which I'm mildly tempted to do) I'd be going out of my way to get the Xoris, Nataruk and Sirocco.

So, K-drive launcher is equiped under the equipment tab in your arsenal, and then accessed in ipen worlds via your equipment wheel, allowing you to use your kdrive in the 3 open world areas (Plains of Eidolon (POE), Orb Vallis, (fortuna) or Diemos).
You can make your own k-drive later, but need to build up reputation with Ventkids so you can unlock and buy the parts to make your own.
Also each faction has damage types that will affect them more than others, for e ample magnetic damage is very effective against the shields of corpus, while viral and corrosive are good against grineer.
While the modding info can be a bit vague, if you go to the console on the left aide of your orbiter when you enter it, and look for the turtorials. It will have a tab going over damage and modding. Its a good thing to read for basics.
Also if you can focus on modding more armor onto your frame, as this will reduce rhe damage you take to health, or you can farm for Rhino, which is a amazing early game tank frame.
NEVER STOP UPLOADING THESE 💯💯
Whoop whoop! I'm excited to watch this series unfold. Loving it. To give any advice I'd say start looking for a clan as soon as you get your hands on the clan dojo key, if you try to make one as a new player it's really really pricey and a lot of time devotion to get all the resources you need. Plenty of really good weapons and Warframe you can earn from dojos. If you do end up making a clan I'll be more than happy to join and try to devote some resources to it!
I will in the future for sure!
Excaliburs “ult” seams lackluster until later when you find out just how gross slash procs are
It's possible to make a slashibur build, however, later on it's way easier to make it work using elemental mods and just focusing on those. Otherwise, you need all slash bias and status chance mods and the highest attack speed you can get.
This man is better at hacking minigame than the average MR20

Yeah, the electricity effects in Fortuna missions can be very nasty in the early game. I think that's honestly something that the devs should take another look at, because there's a lot of enemies that can inflict them and unless you already know what you're doing or have access to late game resources, it's difficult to survive them. If you want to survive them better, for now you'll have to look at your modding options. Specifically, the mods Vitality, Redirection and Steel Fiber can make your warframe just a little bit tougher so you can maybe tank the status.
Calling the fortuna residents robots is cute.
the first time you enter fortuna, is the time you begin playing a lot more
shits amazing, got back into warframe after your first vid, keep going!
I WILL!!
Summary of races in the game:
- Infested: Self-explanatory
- Corpus: Hypercapitalism: The Race
- Grineer: Defective Clones
- Sentients: The Bastards
- Tenno: You
- Orokin: Extinct (?)
- Humans: All of the above
Huh, that helps alot ☺️
I won't be the one to spoil why everyone in Fortuna has no head, I will just say advance to rank 5 in their syndicate. Also, in case you haven't figured it out, they are litteral wage slaves. And the corpus in general, as well as the Solaris in Fortuna, are representations of late 19th and early 20th century industrial workers and the lives they lived dialed to 11.
The quickest way to level up Cetus is to fish using the murkray lure and catch murkray
Ahhh how nostalgic this is, I hope you will have a great time playing one of the best games ever made!
Also, you should really utilize your Radial Blind (2nd ability) and Javelin (3rd ability) more! They're really good abilities that help Excalibur deal with hordes. There were a few instances where you could've used it to avoid being hurt. Also, your Slash Dash (1st ability) makes you invulnerable and chains to targets nearby, which is very useful in those situations as well and is buffed by Exalted Blade.
To make a different archwing than the one given to you from the archwing quest, you'll need to get the archwing segment from a clan dojo. You will also need to do this if you want to craft the archwing launcher and other arch weapons.
ok, now that you're done with fortuna and the open worlds (for now) here are my recommendations:
1: level up your weapons to level 30, and make new weapons! go to the market and get a better primary and melee (secondary doesn't really matter now, but you can buy a lex which is very powerful) This is because warframe runs on a mastery system which blocks progress, but also rewards you with more daily experience in the syndicates (including the open world one's), more spaces for your weapons and warframes and unlocks quests and other weapons. My recommendations for your weapons are: boar and heat sword, They're easy to use and are quite powerful for now.
2: Do the mission Fossa in venus to get Rhino, There are many veterans and mid level players that will help you and rhino overall is a very basic and good warframe (better than excalibur).
3: DO NOT SPEND YOUR PLATINUM IN BAD THINGS. For now spend them only on warframe and weapon slots, don't waste it rushing constructions or buying colour paletes or guns, When you kill vor for the second time in the star map, you get some platinum. Later on when you have more time in the game and are level 3 mastery you can trade mods and prime parts for platinum.
4: Don't get too caught up on finishing every star node now. Some are more difficult and overall what you should be doing is doing junctions. They both unlock quests, give you mastery points and give you worthwile reward. But if you want to continue doing them nodes(the levels in the game) are kinda repetitive so don't burnout on them.
5: mods, you'll gain alot of mods and they require both endo and credits to be leveled, which you'll learn with time which ones are good and bad. For now try and level: Redirection, Serration, point blank, pressure point, fury and vitality. They'll carry you till saturn. I must tell you: weapons are only strong because of mods! so i really advise you to focus on them. And if you have any difficulty on advancing, you can start focousing on other stats, like elements (fire, ice, toxin, eletric and their combinatinons) and crit chance but now it's not necessary.
Have fun!
Rhino is better than excalibur, eh? My Roaribur is pretty confident doing levelcap survival missions.
fortuna... probably my favorite area in the game tbh. so much personality
your friend is a based chad for choosing mag as his starter, best warframe in game
im really happy that warframe is getting new players. I only played this game for 3 years and absolutely loved it.
Of all the open maps, Fortuna is the hardest. Its unforgiving to an unprepared warframe.
Also if you dont know already, the guy with shields at 13:49 called the guardian eximus is giving nearby enemies massive damage reduction. That's why your damage is inconsistent. From 300-400 to 5-10 damage.
congratulations. You got used to the game really quickly. I recommend that you try other mk1 weapons because they are the cheap version of the normal weapon, for example the braton mk1 is worse than the braton but it helps you to increase mastery levels to unlock new and better weapons. As veteran players we love to see new players go through these adventures and see how little by little they discover the game, excellent video
