"and I Love you" was delivered so perfectly. Muggsy is the MVP for ths sketch!!!!
This is hilarious I love Charles Barkley, and the fact that Al Franken almost got them to laugh was so awesome!
I agree... Al should have stuck to comedy. He is hilarious
Omg t. Jane alanon is 👌..
@@lego4271 👍 I adore Charles he is a good coach now.
Omg JANE I love the egypt reference 😍 ❤ 💕 😄.
If you want to see Charles break, search the "Lord Wyndemere" sketch from around 2013 with Jason Sudeikis and Paul Brittain.
Charles killed it the entire episode. This and posting up Barney were my favorite skits
When he placed his hands on his arm at 2:57 💀💀💀🤣🤣
Someone tell me how Muggsy managed to do that with a straight face. Charles was a split second away from completely losing it.
I like how Stuart calls them Charles B and Mugsy B, promising to "maintain their anonymity." lol
Not to mention the fact that they play for the Phoenix "S's"
Stuart Smalley did an awesome job covering for Charles by saying "Let him cry", so he could keep covering his face while he laughed.
I like how Stuart, when he talked to MJ, clearly had no clue he is, while here he immediately called out Charles for not winning any championships.
He never called him out, he simply suggested that Charles B must have won a lot of championships, being that he said he was the greatest basketball player in the world at the time.
It’s a ghestalt technique🤣
Back to back DeNile jokes. What a legend.
haha ! These are some of my favourite skits . Because they're absolutely good enough !
This is a top 5 of mine
& doggone it, people like them
5:58 Muggsy is adorable!
He really is
4:17 that lady’s laugh in the background😂😂😂
LOL I watch this a few times a week because I love Stuart and this makes me laugh!
I swear mugsy is wearing my fitted bed sheets. Same color and everything!
That’s hilarious
Stop!!!!! I’m already weak!!!!
Pure gold how they all looking in mirror @ end.
When i was a kid I loved this show lol He kinda reminded me of my grandma. I just saw him as this kind compassionate feminine character that i wanted as like an uncle or something.
The way Al Franken acted when he caught the subtle, "Get your hands off me" look was spectacular.
Muggsey let Charles cry.....
Mugsy's shoulders look as wide as Charles' but his head is half the size.
Muggsey had them handles boi
I had a dog named Mugsy growing up so Muggsy Bogues was always my favorite
And doggone it, people like me
😂
Thist time Charles got lucky and could disguise his laughs as crying pretty well lol
I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and doggone it, people like me.
2:45 is literally if Al Franken played Stefon
They did really good with this one😂❤
How has Shaq and NBA on TNT not shown this yet?
Poushal right!!!!
Because Lorne wouldn't let them and Al wouldn't have any incentive to do it.
Don't tell Shaq
This actually made me cry!
That's how 12 steps make you feel guilty and needy of them
Mugsy killed this
This episode is the clear cut reason for his Television success......Besides of his athletic ability of course. The world got to see his hysterical side. Love this skit
I don't know how they kept a straight face.LMAO 😂
They should have brought Michael on too for this sketch
Jordan? They did
@@iforgothowtotype I mean for that one episode
@@terrenceharris-hughes4436 But then you wouldn't have... The B Boys.
@@wvu05 Should have brought him wearing all his championship rings
@@jc1daddy2 That would defeat the whole point of the sketch.
"I know how badly you wanted to beat the Bulls". 🤣🤣🤣
Charles: So, you're really messed up.
Stuart: Yes... But that's ok.
I feel like Stuart raised the Millennials.
“I’m OK You’re OK” was written in 1967.
Mugsy got wiiiiide shoulders
There s so much material in these sketches. It s not absurd humour at all. It s meaningful to the point that sometimes i don't see the joke in the text, just in its delivery. It s funny only bc of the way it is presented, not bc of its content. Trully, its content is mostly heartbreaking. Here for example, the psychological turmoils of the famous and the successful are real..
Charles Barkley and Muggsy Bogues starred in Space Jam.
NBA Jams
Muggy always on my team.
Unless playing with a friend. Then, we the Suns
This and Al Gore are my two favorite Daily Affirmations. Don't know why it was so hard to find since it's been up so long. Curses, algorithm!
Hey, Stuart, you ARE good enough. You ARE strong enough. You are sweet and kind and your "sessions" are life-affirming. Keep up the good work!!
Freakin hilarious😂😂😂
And so "how many rings you got Chuck" was born
Phil Hartman’s voice in these is so underrated 😅
That is Al franken
Charles B. looks really familiar.
Damn Chuck no rings!!!
Perspiration sticks ha ha
Ooh I forgot about these ...
I diiiieed! 🤣🤣🤣
We used to laugh at Stewart Smalley because of his lovable absurdity. Scary how he’s now no longer absurd, he’s the norm!
Hilarious😂😂😂
Mugsy is the GOAT
Hell, yeah!
Wasn’t this the episode Nirvana performed on?
Yep
@@Virishking 1994 i believe,, epic episode!
How did Charles get so much worse at delivering his lines hahaha that being said, he’s still funny even when he flubs.
2019 LMAO still!
One person is not...okay.
Bless you Stewart.
#Overreadersanonymous 🤣
3:45 🍺🐂🤣
This makes me very happy.
Hilarious that I stumbled upon this two days before Yom Kippur.
Somewhere backstage, Nirvana was waiting to go on. 😮
The "B ... Boys..." You could never get away with that today! It was so classic hoof in mouth Stuart. Back in the day, everyone would laugh about the obvious cluelessness of a comment like "The B Boys" made to two black men and the oafishness of that statement. And no hard feelings at the end of the day. Yeah, and white folks would have gotten that was a dumb-butt comment, too! Great writing, and it was wonderful how the script made fun of Stuart and white cultural stereotypes, at the same time. Meanwhile showing how the two black men handled it with grace and class.
B-Boys was the name of breakdancers in the hip hop world in the 80s and early 90s. Stuart thinks he's clever that he stumbled upon a hip joke which is corny at the same time.
This needs an update for Lebron.
down vote.
Or for Tom Brady!
Still zero dislakes
Was this the nirvana episode?
It was
Think this was Chuck's best appearance on SNL.
lol...What's so funny is that neither can act, but it was perfect for this. Bring back Franken & Davis.
So you’re really messed up?
For some reason muggsy looks tall
See...how funny creative things can happen when politics aren't infused into our comedy cuture..it was beautiful. I hope someday it can come back.
This was one sketch. They went back to tearing Bush Sr a new one the very next break.
Hate to be that old guy but it's true. Television back in the day was f v c k en incredible. This is so good
RIP Phil Hartman
Brilliant!!!!
How many of these Stuart Smalley videos are blocked in the USA???
Can someone post the Al Franklin impersonation of Pat Robertson along with the Dan Ackroyed impersonation of Bob Dole?
I don't know how to do it.
Is that the one of The Republican candidates with Dana Carvey as George Bush Sr.?
A young Charles barkley
What movie is this
I never heard of this show before, can someone explain it to me?
That's why I give myself hearts 🥰, because I love me. @Eminem and Snoop!! Now love the doubler. God bless Zest+ Amen. R 🧐🔑
Let the trash talk rain from the heavens
Back when SNL was actually funny
Barkley played for 7 more seasons and never won. They made a movie from this sketch.
I say it to me seriously.
lol
Season 18 Episode 9: Daily Affirmations with Stuart Smalley, Stuart decides to fly home for Christmas to be with his family. Does anyone have this skit to post?? It’s really funny….I can’t find it posted anywhere. The NBC site has it listed, but it won’t play☹️. Would love to grab it
Back when snl was actually funny
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have no idea who mugsy is . ( I didn’t know the basketball guy either)
It's ok to not be a basketball fan. You're still special and you're good enough.
@@enrique88005😂😂
❤😂
Who's cutting the onions
The only thing that would make this even more hilarious is if Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley were on together. They are great friends.
😂😂😂😂❤
The mj one was better
Surprised Shaq did not pop up and start talking about his rings..
Shaq did not have rings at that time.
Shaq had only been in the league for one year at this point.
It was his second year in the NBA when this episode came out shaq started his rookie year the 92-93 Season and this is from SNL season 19 93-94 season.
Chuck acting like a man should next to that thing!
The bald costume head pieces weren’t that good back in the day
This was so funny when it came out, it’s so sad that now this is the way things really are. A world run by snowflakes.
❤ 💙 💜
Charles tried to recreate the magic of the Jordan episode. LOL...nobody cared.
Mugsy dressed like a black man, & Barkley like a white commentator.
And Stuart dressed like a day glo marshmallow
Hilarious
Ive never seen anyone wear the shape of clothes or color that Muggsy did right here
