He did not guess the colors, nor they did they just think of any cards, he made them choose the cards in some other way like asking them to take them out of the deck, there is cut in the the video around 1:44. He is lying to his youtube audience often like this.

There were four piles- 13 cards each.. don’t know abt their sequence but Karan does, in every pile he has two consecutive number cards of a single design..... so in the last pile there were 7 and 8(diamonds) , in the second last 6 and 5(hearts) , in the third last 3 and 4 (spades) and the first ace and 2(clubs) .... the design reading is his trick
