People don't realize that now is all there ever is; there is no past or future except as memory or anticipation in your mind.

Yes, that’s true, and so what? We still have to plan for the future, and learn our lessons from the past. We simply don’t discount the past and the future because the don’t exist.
So what? Anxieties and worries about the future are what causes most people to suffer. Eckhart addresses this, there is time for planning but you don't need to be thinking about the future all the time.
@@theseasnakewhisperer8649 If you live in the past you will never be settled in the present and ill prepared for the future. Change is constant and many of the best laid plans never come to fruition. The moment is all you can control, at best.
Exactly.. No past, no future.. Truly living in the moment.. No judgement.. Nothing is mundane.. Joy is going on all around us.. Everything is OK.
But it's the memories and anticipation that make life worth living. If I didn't have the memories of the life I shared with my beloved husband I would be deeply unhappy. But because I have them, I feel content. I feel loved. And if I didn't anticipate any future joy I might as well end it all right now. I love Eckhart's teachings (plus he's from my home town) but I don't agree with the idea that the now is all that counts.

"Every challenge is an opportunity for waking up" Truly agree with Eckhart here. A lot of people have been effected by everything that's going on and have been experiencing this 5-D Shift or awakening.
Our paths of lives has shifted and I even made a video on this on my channel not too long ago talking about how people have been experiencing this 5-D shift. And afterwards I learned that many more people are actually experiencing this expansion and it's a real thing that was happening naturally.

Hello Rav, I agree that when there is a challenge there is an opportunity to grow and wake up. However, I don't know what you mean by "5-D shift" RELATED TO THIS QUARANTINE.... I don't think only a 2 months partial quarantine can bring people into a 5D dimension of unconditional love and enlightenment. People just fucking watched the all day more episodes on Netflix than before.... and ate more saturated fat shit laying on their couch ahahah I saw more a 5G Shift during this quarantine rather than a 5D World :D

I m in AA . Lost connection on zoom for 13 days last week . Couldn't afford to fix my damaged phone basically. Found the power of now book lying around the flat, carried it around for a half a decade never once reading it properly. Tbh thought Erkhart was as old and gone as Einstein😂. clearly far from!
I opened up on the page regarding the inner me, , silence and living in the moment & was blown away. Power of now saved me when AA Lit and zoom couldn't. So glad he is alive and current , so pleased to see this incredible author in the flesh! So grateful. My neighbour and I are not dead because of you. Tensions where at peak and one of us had to get conscious . These men together makes perfect sense. A joint book would be amazing🙏🙌😐

@@alexkirsch8396 podcasts should be free, luminary goes against everything russell talks about on here, it's a big business that is collecting free media and charging for it, the messages russell and his guests are talking about need to be heard by people, especially the less well off and the poor who cant afford subscription fees, so yes people need to make a living but not by charging for things that should be free, that is what is happening to the NHS in the uk, a public service that should he free that is slowly being privatised

Am reading the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and am almost finished. I feel if one really focused on the strategies and messages in his book, and consistently worked on them, that would be all the instruction one would need to significantly spiritually progress (and I've had a lot of different teachings from different teachers). It's all contained in that amazing book. I think he is arguably one of the best teachers on this planet. I'm very grateful for his existence.

The Power of Now and A New Earth explain human behaviour better than anything else I've read. Once you understand the mechanism of ego, you notice it everywhere.
I’ve been practicing a spiritual process since 2015. However I have to say The Power Of Now is the book that really transformed me and “woke me up”. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to make a change.

Hi Russell, you have very successfully shown the deeper and not so well known humanity of Echart by asking good questions. I listened to Echart's live stream yesterday. I had to listen to it a second time to really take in the importance of adopting this quiet witness or "presence" way of living. To be alert to the blaming voice that infects the mind so easily. If there is any truth to the morphic field that Rupert Sheldrake theorises then the disturbed thinking that flows around the world now is to be recognized even more than ever. Move to the country and be nurtured by nature. Tune out from big city Matrix mind.
There's a 19 minute delay at the beginning because of technical problems but as Echart pointed out, this was an opportunity to prepare for really listening.

In general, the fact that he puts this podcast behind a paywall show Russell’s true colours. Don’t get me wrong, I love him, but he may not be as selfless and guru-like as he’d like to believe

if police officers wore a heart beat detector, the second it reaches 120 bpm an alarm goes of instruction the officer to reduce his heart rate. Combined with a timer to detect munition discharge it would be easy to know if the actions where conscious or stress related muscle memory.
They could just be running or running upstairs for their heart rate to increase. When the alarm goes off you suggest the officer has to lower their heart rate, but what if they are chasing a criminal or in a situation when the alarm goes off and it startles a criminal holding a gun and they fire their gun as the alarm startles them hearing it coming from the officer?
Eckhart Tolle blinks alot! Normally that would arouse suspicion but Eckhart seems to look up and slightly to the right which indicates he's not remembering answers but rather allowing the words to come through him in each present moment. Cool! :)

Life is a 2 edged sword 1 side is good, the other side is bad, at the point of this sword " oh sword should never have been misinterpreted as a weapon of war, this was the case here on Earth with you either warring or becoming accustomed to wars & conflict losing loved ones & still falling prey to predators" well you know it's a fine line it's also a perfect point & so precisely sharp this tiny tiny living point because its life, its sharp, alive, & will penetrate any bubble & it did, you all know what happens to a bubble when you stick a pin into it & this bubble was enormous & had been greedily expanding consuming precious fuel earmarked for future generations on a life sustaining planet

Russell just put it out for free, i'm in Germany and Luminary isn't even available here. I couldn't pay for it if i wanted, and many others seem to be in the same boat.
The most prominent thing what I've learned from the "lockdown" is that video calls are pretty shit. It seems like the providers prefer looks over the information. It doesn't matter if the other side can hear you, as long as they can you see you, in hi-definition. Granted I have not made a single video call in my life and I base my opinion on the video calls I've seen on mainstream media and I believe they have a capability to arrange something better than what is offered to the consumers.
