    What a rip off. This is not how you get rid of mold. The mold is growing in the walls. The vents are just moving the mold when your HVAC is on. There is a water leak some where in the house. Find the water leak and you will find the mold. Under your kitchen sink is a great place to start as well as your bathroom

    I just fogged with kleen green. I wonder how long it takes to remove the mold . I am just trying to get through another week or so until i can buy a camper to live in while i remediate or completely destroy my house. The musty crawlspace is infested with mold. I have been through this several times from different areas of water damage, but this time i can attack it while not actually sleeping in the house. I might just pay to have it tore completely down. I so sick of mold. Im really questioning a whole lot of the stupid ways people build houses and do plumbing, roofing ect. Don't mess around . Make redundancies to your roofing system. Your carelessness might hurt some poor person futuer into the future. Life is hell with mold toxicity. Be a good person and do the job correctly for the next generation of people living in your mess.

      You want to stop any leaks, rent a dehumidifier at Home Depot and set up next to the wet areas for 3 to 5 days, this extracts all moisture. You may have to open up some walls or under water heater to get heat inside, then Home Depot to get concrobium and apply over all areas that were affected.
      If this is to much, wouid highly recommend hiring a restoration company near you.

    So I asked on another one of your videos, what is the cost breakdown for all of these steps? 1. Air Duct/Air Return/Floor and Ceiling Vent Cleaning? Followed by a sanitization whole house treatment then air sample tests? I am guessing it is based on the square footage of the house and then doing at least 2 air samples (Outside baseline plus 1 room). It is hard enough to get an owner or property manager to spend $200-$300 on just the air duct cleaning itself, so I am guessing the final cost to do all the above is between $800 to $1400?

      3br, kitchen, living room, bathroom = 6 HEPA air filters, $50/ea = $300
      Fogger rental, 1 day, Home Depot = $30
      Concrobium= $50/gal
      HEPA vacuum = $200
      N95 Masks = $10/box
      Painters coveralls = $15
      Does $600 seem like a reasonable DIY cost to compare to hiring a professional?

I had put a medicine vegan and spots came off in 3 minutes I pressed and wiped and it's all gone it kills 99.9% germs bacteria. 0.99 sence. And I'm just dreading if it will come back I start sneezing and I could smell it in my bedroom now I don't smell it bit my throtw saw. I don't have no wear to live so I decided just to stay here the apartment is pretty clean it's always sanitized but the carpets and curtains need a clean the curtains are landlords but they have fungus on it black so don't know to throw them or wash then hafl way down? Why isn't their a law for apartment that have damp and mould in apartments what can be done can I tell the council with letting my landlord know to fix the problem. As landlords are new and not the same very horrible people. I feel like I'm wasting my money on this apartment and my health could be why I get sick. But the way money crises are rite now I don't think il able to find an area like this and prices have gone up. Any advice please please share it I'm not well paitent as well and I try my best and I need help . I'm going to start to do the other side of my bedroom to remove the spots on the wall. Would it help to put sealant over it once I remove it so it doesn't come back or will it make it worse? please let me know I also get little prices of itch on my skin is it the fungus . or what. I feel I need to move or get council to look at it I always pay on time never missed and they take money but wen apartment is in need of something they don't come out and I cry literally cry I have never lived in these conditions before. Mould will aways return if the environment is inviting. Not sure where you are from or what your weather is like but the best method I have found for keeping mould from returning is always leaving the bathroom/toilet/laundry windows open. Terrible in winter letting all the cold air in but if you dont let the moisture out, especially in the bathroom after a steamy shower, that’s when mould starts appearing. Keep everything as dry as possible. If you live in a really rainy place, then might need to run your aircon on dry all day to keep the moisture away.

    Does the EC3 remove all mycotoxins. I had my house remediated for mold by a professional company local to me. There is still a mold smell and kind of vapor in the air. Could that be Mycotoxins?

    • @thomast8553
      @thomast8553 Před 2 lety +4

      Yes, mostly (85% I would estimate). I had a mold called Aspergillus and just as he mentions here, it’s more about rigorous cleaning. All walls and floors have to be cleaned. Unfortunately I had to trash a 20 yard dumpster worth of clothes, furniture, books curtains and many other items. There is no getting around it. I personally wiped down every joist in the basement and tossed tables, bookcases, chairs. After all that the smell really went down but some smell remains. This EC3 solution is amazing. It has a cleaning effect to the air and allows to to stay in the house as you clean. You really have to clean everything period. It’s far more exhausting then moving.

      Great question! No, dehu & air purifier can’t kill mold.
      Dehumidifier if perfect for extracting excessive moisture out of substrates that cause mold, but stopping the moisture source is permanently going to stop mold growth.
      In respect to Air purifier, you have to use IQ air health pro. But you still have to remove any mold growth in your structure.

It’s a finished basement with rugs and walls. My question is this how do you remediate? Do all the walls and carpet have to be torn out even though they look brand new? Do you guys use some kind of tool that finds wet spots behind finished walls and you don’t have to rip them all out? Any answer would be helpful thank you
