One of the most heart-wrenching endings on television. For someone who lost his father in the same way, it is especially emotional for me. John Schneider's performance was one of THE best fathers ever on television.
Feel your sentiments and so sorry about your father. I lost mine last year a week before our birthdays witch is on the same day.
Spoilers for future seasons ahead
This episode was definitely a heartbreaking one to watch I think one of the saddest moments I can recall from this show other than this was when probably Alicias death but most sad of all when Lana had to go away from Clark after absorbing too much kryptonite Clark and Lois was always end game for the show but the chemistry and acting between Tom and Kristen made their relationship preferable to me and all the more sad the way it ended
One of the best episodes of the series, So many emotions in this episode
This is always a defining learning moment in Clark’s life. He learns he can’t save everyone, even those he loves
To me, even though it is heartbreaking, this is the best episode of the series. You go through all emotions.
Breaks my heart no matter how many times I watch this episode. I loved seeing your reaction to this one. I'm still upset Jonathan Kent had to die. He was one of my favorites
I been waiting for this reaction this episode is one of the most heartbreaking episodes of the season poor Clark 🙏
One of my favs Amazing acting from the whole cast
Saddest episode of any show ever it's the only show that has made me cry more than once
my favorite episode by far
FINALLY...the 100th episode!!!!
I would still have told her in the reset day but then said, “btw, don’t visit Lex. He’ll be able to tell that you know my secret and it ended in a fatal car crash. Shun that bald brother!”
best series ive ever seen...rip Jonathan Kent....one of the best dads in tv history!
If he didn't save Lana, he would have lost them both. Jonathan would've died anyway with his heart condition.
Exactly. Still a rough decision making moment though. Two people you love ultimately die. You can save one, or wait and lose both of them, but one has to die in that moment 😢😢😢
This episode is so good & it came out of nowhere, didn't expect Jonathan to frickin die!
I always loved Superman and especially Smallville and I always saw my dad as my personal Superman and when I saw this episode for the first time I didn't really understand it and because of it I didn't like it until last year when my dad died also of a heart attack now get it and it's gut wrenching. I love shows that makes you stop and think and in my case remember my dad and how much I love and miss him. Love your channel good job
For Clark to keep his “ love” his mother had to lose hers. I’m still disgusted. I hate how this episode ended.
What also love about this show is how progressive it is. Alot of people complained about the changes like with Pete race , different sexualities and being a human rights activist always fight for people that are seen different.
In the original Superman franchise all the characters were mostly white and there were no gay characters.
@@jacovisser9433 stop doing drugs kid
Takes one to know one get over your selfs
@@jacovisser9433 Thank God!
E a partir daí muitas coisas vão mudar.
This episode traumatized a whole fanbase lol. When I watched it for the first time it was the best episode and then turned into the worst episode.
I wish the watermark was a little more transparent.

Since when did they start having that big bold red word Smallville across the screen like that when you did a reaction video to Smallville
I`m a big Smallville fan from Germany. From all Ten Seasons I only don`t like 4 Episodes.
My favorite show ever I only don't like 2 every damn episode is either good, really good or GREAT
And oddly Like when lana saw Chloe letter then finally told Clark her feelings after begging for truth and his and never doing so, Lois saying she hopes for a guy like Clark and that’s the reason she said yes.
