I have that, and 1440p on that size screen is stunning it dosen't support HDR but its absolutely stunning 😎
I guess i kno what im getting for christmas, thnx.
I bought and still have the very first gaems travel case, desperately need to upgrade
Looks great probably buy one when it comes out
Or buy a gaming pc
@@bigboi9856 and carry your desktop? gtfo here u pleb
big boi 😂 i did that months ago 💪
Great video commentary. I have to agree with the price tag. This thing better come with a drink holder. 🤣 But looking forward to making this purchase whenever the price goes down. I do have the Gaems version being the backpack with the monitor which is a favorite of mine, I bought that around 2 or 3 years ago which was on sale, but it's worth checking out.
It’s on sale at GameStop for $209. You can only get it at the price in-store though
That mug is dope, it will come in handy.
Got me interested... Won't there be any overheating?
I have one I would suggest a angle xb one power cord. PS4 pro you need a power cord for angle power cord that's included with Guardian. Angle power cords will fit better in this case.
One thing besides the crazy price is the fact that the system is covered. When going through airport security I'm sure they will make you take the system out everytime
These have come a long way since the ps1 screen. I can’t even afford a game console let alone that thing. So cool though.
My preorder came in on July 29.....a early birthday present from the wifey.
I think this was a way to move me away from the 70"inch 4k LG in the family room.....and you wanna know....I gotta say it worked. I'm loving this thing. It sounds great, looks cool, and looks surprisingly big for a 24" monitor.
I own a Note 9 and have been using DEX along with a wireless keyboard and mouse to use alongside my xbox one x. The Guardian is definitely not for everyone and I get some of the negative comments. But for me, I absolutely enjoy its features. The best one being that when I'm done with my sessions the unit is capable of being closed and neatly stored away from my 15 month olds food coverd hands...its nich, its pricey, but its oh so cool
Yes, you can get a mid size 4k tv for the price but this ISN'T geared towards that market.....its for the gamer that's looking for a portable and feature filled experiences.....that's what this unit brings to the table.....I'm loving it.
Glad to know you're loving it. Some people just really don't understand the reason you buy this.
How is the screen quality? You have a good comparison with your 4K tv.
@@hummel003 it' looks great, I dont feel the need to switch from the geams guardian back to our larger 70in 4k LG at all. UHD, BLURAY, Games all look great at this size a resolution. And the Sound this thing puts out is awesome....its not Bose or JBL but it is very Good for its purpose...BFV, HALO Anniversary,, RE2 remastered, Forza all sounded awesome. BFV's low-end V2 rockets and large explosions really feel nice and thick.
HALO's more alieny soundtrack had crispy highs full mids and a thick bass line.
@@Marcthegeek hey Mark, I subscribe to your channel bro....its awesome to hear from you. I Love Your PS Vita vids.
And on that note Iam sure there must have been those who couldn't see the point of owning or buying titles that where available for more powerful systems then that awesome handheld.
Well this is exactly like that. I like to reason it like this......I dont drink, dont smoke, and dont party much and work really hard (not that I have anything against these activities....I'm a family man now) hell I only really buy games when they are deeply discounted... what Iam taking so long to say is when something unique and interesting hits the video game scene I sometimes like to experience it first hand day one. I'd like to believe that I'm somehow helping push the concept forward in my own small way.
Would you like to make a video with some video footage please? I would like to see the screen quality. I have the vanguard and I want to know if it’s a big upgrade
holy smokes, I bought the G155 way back in 2013 to use on deployment, and I thought THAT was cool. THIS would DEFINITELY be a great deployment investment lol
Is it worth it to buy the Guardian, being that the Xbox Scarlett comes out next year, maybe the PS5 too? Hopefully they will still fit.
I've been watching this ever since it was announced. I've had the vanguard for a few years and it works great for what I need, but I was really excited to hear that they were making one with a bigger monitor at 1440p (I think). I'm kinda with you though; I'd love to upgrade but boy is that price hard to justify.
But the screen kooks awesome in person.
@@Marcthegeek I bet!
Vanguard is great, I’ve had one also for a couple years, Sure the screen is only 720p but the response times are awesome! ZERO lag...
@@funkyflights plus it's at the point now to where I don't feel like I have to baby it.. a few scratches and such. I'd hate to spend 700 and be afraid to use it like I do now. Maybe I'll get one second hand some day.
Kase818 ... 700 plus tax is really steep, that’s dam near 800 dollars, 775 or so after tax ... Man, that’s getting really steep when you consider you can buy a 4K 60 inch TV for 1,000 ... I’m interested, but it’s gonna be when the prices come down...
Will this fit in my rack? It’s 16 1/2 inches tall and 28 inches wide. Space is limited on those military deployments.
Man you should’ve asked lol. That thing looks AMAZING!!! $699 is a lot but....I WANT IT. Go back and get it so we can see an unboxing lol. I have the vanguard and love it. But that thing is a beast.
It looks great in person
I've read reviews of people having issues with the Guardian Pro and their PS4 Pro. Size limitation was the main headline that I saw about it. Can anyone else elaborate on that, if that is an issue you're experiencing right now?
Just bought one, Quality isn't cheap, you get what you pay for. And you will pay.
Have you had any issues with it entering power saving mode? Mine stuck on power saving mode and cant get a picture.
SAME
Does this monitor support screen mirroring from smart devices?
How do you play online? WiFi or hardwired?
$699 is a lot. More than a possible PS5.
I know right you can buy ps5 for that price
The price is so high because of the good powerful speakers and the beautiful 24'' inch 1440p ips screen. I think the price is not that bad.
goodluck carrying your living room tv with you.
It’s on sale at GameStop for $209. You have to buy it in-store though.
The only thing I didn't like about it, is that it doesn't have a remote control!
What a video
Will a normal PS4 work on it
needs to be 4k
What is the battery life
nicee
Why did they not make it 4K? So it is future proof for ps5 and the next Xbx
I have it 5 weeks ago
what kind of pc cases can fit with this thing.
Only micro ATX I believe
C’mon Marc let’s be honest you’re going to justify to your significant that price tag.
Even if you wait for Black Friday this November 🤘😜🤘😜😂🤘😂🤘
I know, I wish I could justify
Marc The Geek well Jeff Goldblum once said in 1993 life finds a way 😜😂😜
I was thinking of buying this for my semi truck but I doubt I can run it off the power of a cigarette lighter power supply
Just need a power converter that outputs high enough watts, am trucking atm using the geams sential running just fine
Or you can get an inexpensive portable monitor and run pretty much anything on it.
How heavy it is?
Heavy as shit
I mean if you're into that sort of thing it looks like it's astonishingly well made. However you can get a 50 inch 4k TV for this money. Which will suit most people better than this. I can only imagine this being a must buy for people who get paid to review games and need to travel a lot.
Totally true. I saw a 4K 65" Sony TV on sale for exactly $699 at Sam's Club right after playing with this.
I'm an airline pilot who games my dude. This looks great for me
Oh, It willl be
Good luck taking your 50 inch 4k with you to some place. Its not a size comparison. I really think some people don't get the concept at all. Its made to game on the go, and this is amazing for that
I got mine ordered. I love the fact that I can take this to play while I get tattoos or even lay in bed and play. Trips with the family will be great as well
It’s available on Amazon now!!!
And it’s the price of a tv man. The price isn’t all that horrible. I mean I can’t afford it lol
Not really portable if u gotta connect it to the wall
I got the sentinel for only $200 on sale, I was going to get this one for the screen size and more storage but ps4 pro doesn't have 2k, only HD or 4k.
Maybe if it had a 4k screen it'll be okay for $700
Idk about this. No 4k, 9ms, and if you’re using it with ps4 it would not justify the price over the sentinel because ps4 and ps4 pro doesn’t support 2k. You’d be using it at 1080p with no hdr. For that I’ll just get the sentinel half the price and still play it at 1080p.
Price is to high
Yo Mark, let me work with you. Since you got money to buy all these games. Hire me
700$ hells NO.
first to watch the video.
Ps5 doesn't fit on this
I doubt it. Ps5 dimensions are huge.
