    Hi Monika, your videos are concise and very instructive, you carefully choose the examples, you clearly pronounce the phrases at the right pace, both slow and quick as we might find in real ccommunication situations.
    Your videos are possibly the best I've come across to learn polish. Keep it up the good work and thanks for producing such nice videos. Wielkie dzięki :)

    Very helpful video! Wiedzieć and znać is similar to German, so that is easy for me. But your explanation of umieć and potrafić helped me a lot. Thank you for this great lesson!

    Thanks for all these videos. It is sometimes hard for me to follow up the sentences in polish, as I struggle with pronunciation. I watch your video at slower playback speed. I guess people like me can benefit more, if the polish part is spoken a little slower. Thanks again for all your hard work in making these videos.

    I'm glad my mother tongue is Portuguese-BR, cauz we also have these three different verbs. However, for English speakers, these verbs must be a challenge to get exactly their meaning.

      My first language is not English, but I`ll tell you right now - it`s not even fun. I am a medical student studying in Poland, and we are forced to learn the language as we do medicine at the english division. These three + the clock and time telling are literally giving me a bigger headache than some of the medical-related courses. I almost feel sorry for those who are growing up in Poland and have to learn this language from a young age. Not even being young will make this language easy

    Natrafiłem przypadkiem na pani kanał i nie mogę przejść obojętnie.
    Bardzo dziękuję za to co pani robi. Z pewnością pomogła pani już wielu osobą swoimi materiałami i miejmy nadzieję, że pomoże jeszcze wielu innym.
    Przy okazji promuje pani również na swój sposób nasz wspaniały język. Czapki z głów, niech pani trzyma się tego co robi (bo to ma znaczenie) i niech się również powodzi pani w życiu prywatnym. Pozdrawiam.

    Od dziecka might be translated as "since childhood". "I've known this since childhood" although I think childhood is usually associated more with the third person. Anyway ...
    Thank you for these videos Monika - do you plan on completing your grammatical cases playlist with the locative and dative cases (miejscownik / celownik)?

    • @PolishwithMonika
      @PolishwithMonika  Před 10 měsíci

      Yes, I'm planning to continue the cases. The video about the dative case should be ready in a few weeks.

    is there a difference in the pronunciation of "e" and "y"?

    • @Ntwadumela1
      @Ntwadumela1 Před 9 měsíci

      These are two completely different sounds. There is no difference between:
      u - ó
      ch - h
      rz - ż
      ć - ci
      dź - dzi
      ś - si
      ź - zi

    Nie jest dobrze. You cannot know English. English speaking people never speak this way. Either you speak English or understand, but never know. It simply makes no sense. Otherwise everything is fine. Zawsze ostatne jest w porzątku
