My headcanon is that between the time Luz and the others settle down at her house before going to save the Isles, Camilla wants to have a heartfelt conversation with Amity. As theorized by many, Amity will probably be very uneasy around Camilla due to how Odalia was to her; it would be anxious to her to communicate with another mother, especially her girlfriend’s mother. When Camilla says that Amity has nothing to worry about, and because Luz has someone who shares the same interests, Amity is perfect in Camilla’s eyes. Camilla: “You’ve been there for my daughter and refused to suffer more oppression. You are always welcome.” Amity: “🥹 Gracias, Señora Noceda.” (Probably) Camilla: “Please, no formalities. Call me Camilla” And they hug 🫂
I'm happy for Amity in this comic since she doesn’t have to deal with a mother that always have high expectations for her and forcing her to do what she wants. Seeing Luz's mom and Amity getting along is just so cute and wholesome!
This is the plot point I'm most waiting for during the hiatus. Camilla learning her daughter got a girlfriend is HUGE, and should make for some interesting (and hopefully wholesome) dynamics.
And best friends. And brothers. And a twin sister. And an aunt. And a crazy bird worm uncle. And a surrogate mom (which makes me hope Luz DOESN'T get jealous of Camilla's relationship with any of them, as she's allowed to have two of the same relationship).

But I'd think that Vee would actually get the spot, due to her past making her very appreciative of Camila. Not too unfair really.
And that she's having a better female parental figure than the Witch-That-Must-Not-Be-Named. Speaking of which, *Gets chancla* I've been meaning to have a little "talk" with her about parenting...

Odalia was the one who ruins Amity's life, but I don't blame Alador, he's very nice, and was forced to be side with Odalia because of her abusing him. Amity deserved to have Camila as her legal guardian and real good mom.

He was on Board with Odalia when it was about Break the friendship with Willow and only say something in s2 ep2 because he think Amity would get stronger because of her friend's not because he cared about her it was only because it make her stronger and probably beat Darius at some Point.

I hope that those comics of the Escapee's and Luz Mom are canon because of what gonna happen in season 3 unless they decide to make a 21 episodes and a 3 episode special on the season 3 owl house.
One of the upsides if being stuck on Earth for the time, Amity gets a real and actually good mother figure in Camilia as opposed to what she had with Odalia.
It works in two levels and I love them both equally. On the one hand, no questions asked no doubts, she accepts amity where as amity’s mother doesn’t accept luz and this offers the dichotomy that might strengthen all relationships as a whole between those 4. That…or completely cut off Odalia altogether, but that is sort of up to her to decide if she’s willing to change or not. On the other hand, it also works on a simpler level that Amity now has a mother figure in her life that is not only accepting of her (both as a witch and as her daughters partner) but offers blind love instead of blind mediocrity towards her existence. It gives her something to look forward to as what a mother truly should be, and maybe even when she too becomes a mother if she so chooses one day.
I am excited to see the new episode and luz and amity and tell her mom that you're in love I don't know how she'll take that but I can't wait to see 😍😍😍

This is good too though 🙂Speaking of Vee I kind of want to see her and Luz actually hangout as sisters in one of these comics one of these days. I'm sure it'd be awkward one to call the other "sister" and vice versa. I can also see Vee and her friends meeting Luz and her friends for the first time. I'm curious to see how the interactions would go, but I'm sure they'd get along (especially Vee and Luz's girlfriends)... more or less.
