This was some of the most vomit crap I've ever seen... What the hell happened to this series?

@@Fukurokaku FAB use to be super fun to watch. But it doesn't matter who's playing STRIVE. It all turns into the same thing. Almost nothing unique happens and anything you could've done for free in XX or XRD costs meter and even THAT barely happens. I just don't get what people see in this monotonous crapshow of a game. I wish there was a new fighting game that was unique or even remotely like old school Guilty Gear but that just isn't gonna happen anymore.

@@Siberianhusky89 try E's Laf 2, in dev atm but has a free trial and costs five bucks for a decent package. it's based on old arksys titles.

@@Siberianhusky89I question how far into the video you got, I refuse to believe anyone watched this 3:46 comeback and says "man FAB used to be fun to watch".
Edit: also nothing for that super clash?

@@Vanilla_Dpad I watched it, I'm sorry, but I am not impressed in the slightest. Guilty Gear use to be like watching an anime. Now, I'm just watching a typical fighting game. "Making a comeback" didn't make Guilty Gear sweet. It was how it happened. All he did was hit ABA, use "Garuda impact" which is one of the dumbest moves in the game. I legit don't recall Guilty Gear just deepthroating the fact that you have to be guard crushed as often as you do.
It happened very, very, very rarely and mainly only with certain characters MAYBE. In this game, it's far more frequent. It didn't make pressure "easier" to perform, it just made it so that it's much, much easier to obtain for no good reason. And he did it a LOT in a game that use to reward you for being unpredictable and rewarded movement. Everything I actually loved about this series was sacrificed. And for what? THIS? Just cause you haven't played more than 20 fighting games, doesn't mean there hasn't been other games like STRIVE. And I legitimately don't see what's impressive about this game. Everything isn't just "easier to do", it's more repetitive, and your options have been destroyed completely.
The series use to give you dozens of options to deal with a situation often enough WITHOUT meter. In STRIVE, you're lucky if you have more than TWO.
