Am from Malaysia and we call the American version of napkin tissue or cloth. To us napkins (cloth) are the same as what Trevor described or pampers (single use).
Parents had an American couple stay over for a few days few years back. They asked my mom for napkins. They also have a 1 y/o with them at the time so my mom asked what size did they need. They were confused. 😂
I just watched this earlier today. Trevor Noah is a storyteller-type comic and he's really amazing. Good storytelling is about weaving you through events rather than telling joke after joke after joke and draws you in. Artie Lange does this really well, also.

You will need:
1. A tortilla (a very thin sheet of cooked dough from maize or flour which will also allow you to grab your taco with your hands)
2. Any choice of meat or fish (can be substituted)
3.and any choice of vegetables but are usually onions and cilantro/coriander
4. And last but not least any choice of salsa/sauce
5. then you can enjoy your taco
