It is crazy how strong these lyrics are - whichever melody they're put on, they still deliver. 15 years ago this song made me take a leap of faith and 'run through the monsoon' of my life in hopes of finding my true love and my true self. In 2020 I'm back to square one, and this song has returned back to me to give me once again a glimpse of hope that I so desperately need right now.

I remember when I first heard the original song and fell in love with it. It was about 11-12 years ago. Some years later I became a German teacher (I'm Russian) 😁 This new version is not worse at all, the new sound is beautiful. Thank you guys for your music and inspiration you give. is an experimental pop with a little influences of indie.
You can say whatever you want about them, but one thing is clear: THEY ARE UNIQUE and they ALWAYS WILL BE! Just because they are authentic. You can't ask them to be like they were 15 years ago....because if they still were like this, there'd be no way it's still authentic. I personally am happy that they changed their style instead of loosing what made them worldstars: Their authenticity!!

I love Tokio Hotel, but in recent days, the band AND their songs have gone from alternative rock to electronic, and this song is no exception. Now I don’t have anything against electronic rock bands as long as they have ALWAYS been that way, and unfortunately, I would really love the old Tokio Hotel back.
Hello, I started listening to TH 3 months ago. I'm in my 40s now and I didn't pay attention on them in 2005-2010 because I thought their songs could be too "teen" for my taste in music. 🤔🙈 ( Shame on me! 😂😂) But this year I decided to give them a try and even thought I like some songs of TH in this eletronic style, I'M IN LOVE with some of their old songs. But Bill and Tom prefer eletronic music nowadays (I guess they already preferred that style of music before Humanoid. I've Binge-watched many interviews and Tom spoke about It in one of them), so all I can do is wish them luck. 🇧🇷 Greetings from Brazil.

Bueno aun me cuesta creer cuanto a cambiado tokio hotel lo escucho desde el disco scream pero bueno es lógico que cualquier grupo o artista quiera evolucionar pero creo que talvez no debieron perder tanto esa esencia del rock aunque KOS y DM no me parecen malos discos igual los seguiré apoyando y ojala espero que algún día saquen un álbum como humanoid pues para mi es el mejor disco que han sacado hasta ahora
