It is simple to do because bibles like the King James have no copyright; to copyright a new Bible and republish an existing work, you have to prove that you have changed or added 40% of the material. I don't think people realize this. ( this is the rule for any noncopyrighted book). So, if people don't know their bibles, they will not even notice the changes. It'll take a generation, for the older people to die off and a new generation to get used to the new changed Bible and think it's real. Then further down the road, when Christians are locked up for hate speech, and preaching about sin, the only Bible you'll have will be what you have in your head. Read the story of Richard Wurmbrand, who was in prison for about 15 years as a Christian minister during USSR communism. He promised the Lord he would preach a sermon every night in prison. And he did...alone in his cell with Noone to hear it, or so he thought. When he was released from prison, he published those sermons into books. And do you know what's crazy? People came up to him and told him they had ALREADY heard his sermon. The Holy Spirit allowed people to hear his sermons who were miles away, in other countries!!! This is what we have to look forward to. So study your Bible now while you have it and listen to these men of God while you have them. It won't be long. My guess is less than 20 years and maybe a lot sooner.

I think the Gospel is very clear that Herod liked John the Baptist and heard him gladly. But the trouble is he liked worldly wealth more than heavenly wealth, not unlike the rich man seeking eternal life from Christ. Very often we want to be with Christ but we're not willing to pay the price.

Before I was Christian but while I was struggling to discern God, I squatted and camped out in the wild and spent a good bit of time with anarchists, though I never fully affiliated with the idealogy. One of them told me that an 7 mantra is to "kill the policeman in your head". I understand the sentiment from people who feel that unreasonable rules have been drummed into them in order to keep them low, but it seemed really dangerous since we should all have a conscience. I hope it doesn't trap many.
Gods been moving in my life the past few weeks and I feel like ove grown a little bit. Which is a big deal to me because for years I've been a Christian my own way and made no progress. I dont always listen to the Holy Spirit. But I'm starting to listen more than I did before. And I'm starting to recognize when God is telling me something, and slowly God is teaching me to put away my selfish desires and pleasures and to choose him. Which is amazing because my flesh has utterly dominated me for years. If I could be selfish though, and ask everyone who reads this to pray for me, that the seed planted, if on the wayside or among the thorns, will be blown by the spirit of God to good fertile ground. I dont want to backslide
It was ONLY the rhythm, the beauty, the structure, the fatherhood and the liturgy, the fasting, the prayers of Orthodoxy were successful in overcoming the terrible demons that drove me to repeated sins of lust, avarice, anger, judgment. When you find The Church and her true teachings after 40 years of searching, then you finally see why the True Church has always been available to us, though the pernicious and relentless heresies of the Romans and the Germans prevented us from seeing.
Thank you,last few days John the Baptist been poping up in my day. I’ve been thinking of the forward thinking and allowing one’s mind to wonder. how it leads adultery and coveting and the sin & trap that it is. To be honest it’s why I don’t value myself so much & turn down when people say decent things of what I’ve done. The good things I’ve done all is glory to god. honestly I’m surprised he allows me to live, mostly probably guilt with my life & I don’t wanna hurt anyone or destroy anyone again accidental or own stupidity of not understanding what I’ve done or doing. If God didn’t put me into my season. I honestly don’t know what kinda junk I would’ve found myself in. I am greatful for the chastening and correction. Without the reflection through all this would’nt have had any real impact. Even the few seeds dropped by someone lead me to where I found myself and if I would’ve been and talking to god, I probably would’ve avoided half of my ordeal. It’s also other reason to I’ve prayed that God take away certain aspect of my future persay, like if there was wife and kids. Probably shouldn’t because I wasn’t the man God deserved. So I should stay alone and single rest of my days and hope I’m allowed to least serve some kind of purpose. I have been going back with certain forms of entertainment and realized quite a bit of the symbolism in shows and how it’s in filth too. My situation keeps me from going to a desert. Way half my life’s been solitude. Makes me wonder once situation changes, maybe I should find some aspect of it and live that. With how monologues and “dream sequences” are used in entertainment, and how it leads to sin and how I’ve fell and had problems in life. Creates a jealousy that’s truly nasty/evil. I use to create dreams just so I could sleep and day dreamed during the day. That ended up leading me and destroyed me. Since Jesus allowed me to realize how bad I was. I’ve been working and trying to really ditch mindsets and detach from wicked things. Lastly through this whole ordeal too. I’ve been realizing the Baton aspect of life and how each person is a work of god and how his will continues. It has been leading me to be less judgemental as well Also how the creating illusions dreams or day dream. It’s creating a false sense, reality and self sacrificing concept. That’s wicked and like a blade going inward the more one does it. It takes away from what gods plan and will for one’s life let alone the gift of the day the lord has planned out for each person. That’s unfair to our creator and the love he gives us. Each days a surprise and gift. So forward thinking and delusions should be casted away Sorry for the long probably winded post. Last edit. Had a moment and some more clarity Came across something with removing one’s self and making it for kingdom of gods advancement. But John chapter 3 tells us exactly how to begin our journey to the Kingdom and it starts through repenting, being baptized in the Holy Spirit, recieving the Holy Spirit, thus becoming born again and becoming more like Him and less like us. Just making sure you know how to begin. I understand many people become born again without reading that chapter, but that chapter in that book is our best strike with the sword of the Word when it comes to spreading the Gospel which is the ultimate way to follow Jesus command to love your neighbor. I want to thank you and encourage other Protestants not to ignore the voice of God no matter where it leads you. I want to thank you Fr. As a protestant (which I am at the present moment) your words in Christ have reached over the oceans to touch my heart, in which you have played more than a trivial role in my decision to convert to the true body of Christ, to tread the true path, and today I visited St. Spyridon GOC in Adelaide, South Australia, to which I believe the Lord in His mercy & grace, had lead me too. Secondly to my Protestant brethren, see it for how it is, look to Christ, start with His Incarnation (On The Incarnation by St. Athanasius of Alexandria, about a 2½ hour read) start with the church He establish, the church His Apostles & Church fathers and the faith they kept & handed down. Its simple, I had become my own mini-pope, it was me, my bible, and Christ alone against the world and even church. For 200 years there was nothing but oral succession then they bible gradually began to take shape in the 1st millennium. The bible must & can only be properly interpreted through Christ's one true church(1Tim3v15). We have not been left as orphans to fend for ourselves. The Lord Jesus said, "..on this rock (Christ, the faithful confession of) the gates of Hades shall not prevail(Matt16v18). The Orthodox (right path) church holds the definitions of terms, in other words, we use the same terminologies but we've changed the meanings. Brethren, we need to bring it home, the path of least resistance is going to leave us sick and off the narrow way. You know? When I watch the news and see the fatal car crash I am detached from the warning because I subconsciously believe it won't happen to me. Well I felt that with Matt7v21-23, so what happens when the Lord says to me, "Worker of lawlessness, I never knew you."? Am I 100% certain? I think yes but really? No, but Christ Jesus the Son of God is certainty absolute, God is true and let every man be a liar, my certainty is not worth the risk of me and my family, and friends (my western Christian siblings) not being with Christ all because 'I thought' I was right. I’m truly grateful to you, Father. I live in Italy and am a catholic Christian. I must sadly admit that priests down here are becoming more and more shallow and detached in their sermons and interpretation of the scriptures. So much so that churches are emptying. The most profound meaning of the Christian faith has been washed away by superficiality and laziness of the spirit, so that eventually faith itself has become just a void and meaningless habit for most people. Tabor every year on the Holy Ascension in our Church (the one and only Church) but we do not predicate our Faith on this miracle. The river Jordan reverses its path twice a year when the two dates (new and old calendar) of the Holy Theophany happen. We have the Holy Fire every year at Pascha. However, we do not base our Faith on these miracles. You would do well to do the same. Instead of spamming us with things outside of our Holy Faith, maybe look into our Faith that has endured for 2,000 years.

I have been going back with certain forms of entertainment and realized quite a bit of the symbolism in shows and how it’s in filth too.
My situation keeps me from going to a desert. Way half my life’s been solitude. Makes me wonder once situation changes, maybe I should find some aspect of it and live that.
With how monologues and “dream sequences” are used in entertainment, and how it leads to sin and how I’ve fell and had problems in life. Creates a jealousy that’s truly nasty/evil. I use to create dreams just so I could sleep and day dreamed during the day. That ended up leading me and destroyed me.
Since Jesus allowed me to realize how bad I was. I’ve been working and trying to really ditch mindsets and detach from wicked things.
Lastly through this whole ordeal too. I’ve been realizing the Baton aspect of life and how each person is a work of god and how his will continues. It has been leading me to be less judgemental as well
Also how the creating illusions dreams or day dream. It’s creating a false sense, reality and self sacrificing concept. That’s wicked and like a blade going inward the more one does it. It takes away from what gods plan and will for one’s life let alone the gift of the day the lord has planned out for each person. That’s unfair to our creator and the love he gives us. Each days a surprise and gift. So forward thinking and delusions should be casted away

Came across something with removing one’s self and making it for kingdom of gods advancement. And reflecting on thoughts and realized I was also focusing to much on myself especially failure. Which was unfair. More of what I can do to keep gods will moving and it being natural. So we all can have kingdom and aspects of it here while we are here.

@@StCausesARuckus I didn't mean it to come off as it's that simple, sorry if that was misunderstood. But John chapter 3 tells us exactly how to begin our journey to the Kingdom and it starts through repenting, being baptized in the Holy Spirit, recieving the Holy Spirit, thus becoming born again and becoming more like Him and less like us. Just making sure you know how to begin. I understand many people become born again without reading that chapter, but that chapter in that book is our best strike with the sword of the Word when it comes to spreading the Gospel which is the ultimate way to follow Jesus command to love your neighbor. I mean no offense my friend, I just care about your soul ❤️

Firstly, forgive me Fr if my words cause you undue temptation. Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me. I want to thank you and encourage other Protestants not to ignore the voice of God no matter where it leads you. I want to thank you Fr. Spyridon for your work in reaching all 'Christians' so to speak. As a protestant (which I am at the present moment) your words in Christ have reached over the oceans to touch my heart, in which you have played more than a trivial role in my decision to convert to the true body of Christ, to tread the true path, and today I visited St. Spyridon GOC in Adelaide, South Australia, to which I believe the Lord in His mercy & grace, had lead me too. So thank you Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Secondly to my Protestant brethren, see it for how it is, look to Christ, start with His Incarnation (On The Incarnation by St. Athanasius of Alexandria, about a 2½ hour read) start with the church He establish, the church His Apostles & Church fathers and the faith they kept & handed down. Its simple, I had become my own mini-pope, it was me, my bible, and Christ alone against the world and even church. For 200 years there was nothing but oral succession then they bible gradually began to take shape in the 1st millennium. The bible must & can only be properly interpreted through Christ's one true church(1Tim3v15).
We have not been left as orphans to fend for ourselves. The Lord Jesus said, "..on this rock (Christ, the faithful confession of) the gates of Hades shall not prevail(Matt16v18). The Orthodox (right path) church holds the definitions of terms, in other words, we use the same terminologies but we've changed the meanings. Brethren, we need to bring it home, the path of least resistance is going to leave us sick and off the narrow way. You know? When I watch the news and see the fatal car crash I am detached from the warning because I subconsciously believe it won't happen to me. Well I felt that with Matt7v21-23, so what happens when the Lord says to me, "Worker of lawlessness, I never knew you."? Am I 100% certain? I think yes but really? No, but Christ Jesus the Son of God is certainty absolute, God is true and let every man be a liar, my certainty is not worth the risk of me and my family, and friends (my western Christian siblings) not being with Christ all because 'I thought' I was right.

I must sadly admit that priests down here are becoming more and more shallow and detached in their sermons and interpretation of the scriptures. So much so that churches are emptying.
The most profound meaning of the Christian faith has been washed away by superficiality and laziness of the spirit, so that eventually faith itself has become just a void and meaningless habit for most people.

@@rsmith7589 I stick to the Faith of Christ, Holy Orthodoxy, so that I do not fall into prelest which people do who seek signs and visions, and put all their faith in miracles.
Clouds descend on Mt. Tabor every year on the Holy Ascension in our Church (the one and only Church) but we do not predicate our Faith on this miracle. The river Jordan reverses its path twice a year when the two dates (new and old calendar) of the Holy Theophany happen. We have the Holy Fire every year at Pascha. However, we do not base our Faith on these miracles. You would do well to do the same. Instead of spamming us with things outside of our Holy Faith, maybe look into our Faith that has endured for 2,000 years.

I am a prideful overachiever loving to overwork myself on things ( as long as they reach the desired quality i find fitting, that let's me be in peace until next piece of work) and i struggle with faith in general since i overly think plenty when it comes to faith or books of advice for newbies (in faith), and seek for answers that i cannot find anywhere or some avoid to tell me ( i tried before talking to people i expected to know some of them and they just avoided me after telling me i ask too much). From the little i know about faith is that God dislikes the prideful, and if that is the case. Can i still hear my consciousness or God is avoiding me for my sin?
