Spider-Man punching Mysterio's fishbowl is the most satisfying thing.

I just love how when Beck pulled out the glasses and made it look like he was handing it to Peter, it was just him aiming his gun, like, looking back at it was such a nice touch
Wow, never noticed that!
nice catch, although CGI Beck's arm recoils from the gunshot while real Beck's arm doesn't when Peter grabs it. Still a dope scene overall.
So much detail

Yo saitama
This part showed just how badass Spider-Man really is and showed that his spider senses can’t be taking lightly
His spider senses don't just sense immediate danger they can even sense danger coming a few seconds in the future if the danger is life threatening and he can sense evil intent
With the combination of his senses, speed and agility, when he's in the zone Spidey is practically untouchable. This scene really captured that.

Peter tingle if you wanna be accurate
“You’ll see Peter. People, they need to believe. And nowadays… they’ll believe anything”.
This quote summarizes Mysterio’s whole character in this movie so well. He takes a normally heroic concept, like the idea that people need something to believe in, and perverts it into something incredibly despicable. He truly is a master con artist capitalizing on people’s fears and insecurities. Such a good rendition of the character IMO
Thts why i think he is the sixth villain in no way home
@@dredollaz1585 Now that would be one hell of a shocking twist, and the PERFECT opportunity for Peter to simply cut loose and let all his frustration (which may or may not turn out to be a good idea). It could also be the chance for him to clear his name, which the former option could complicate.
Very wise words Mr. Joestar! How's your body?
Tbh when I saw this movie I knew going in that Mysterious was gonna be the villain, but up until the bar scene they really had me doubting that assumption. I mean he played his role perfectly, hit all the trope check marks, and even fooled Nick Fury (who wasn’t really Nick Fury, but I mean whatever). When he did his reveal in the bar it was probably one of the most mind blowing reveals for me in the entire MCU. And that’s saying quite a bit. A very good villain, one of the MCUs best

Don't think that's true. He just spent 90% of the movie trying to go on a date. He got pulled in to the bullshit. I don't think it's true of Tony either, but that's another discussion.
Tony is the one who caused both of Spider-Man's villains
More like Peter is cleaning Tony's mistakes, Peter just wants to be the neighborhood spiderman but now he had to handle with big villains caused by Tony
And now he's possibly fighting Electro from the TASM universe and Doc Ock from the Raimi universe because Tony and the Avengers messed with the timelines lol
I love how just like in the comics when Spider-Man discovers the truth and avoids the illusions Mysterio is defeated almost instantly because....well he is just a guy, what makes Mysterio a good villain is how he plays with Spider-Man's mind, not his strength.
Its just like how scarecrow is for batman. Batman could just beat scarecrow with one punch. The best scarecrow interpretation outside the comics was in arkham knight.
This is what we need more of: psychological and mental threats. Mysterio and Scarecrow are perfect examples.

Honestly, I thought that was pretty cool
@@enricobrunings2867 it's both, the illusion is "offering the glasses" to peter so the real beck can aim the gun at his head
After seeing this and how Spider-Man was able to effortlessly stop Winter Soldiers metal arm you realize that when Parker is serious he could keep up with even the strongest avengers.
That is the primary reason why MCU peter is so young. A fully trained and mature Peter Parker is a force to reckon with and they didn't want him stealing the spotlight before Endgame.
In the comics they make a point that when Peter Parker doesn't quip _thats_ when you have to worry. Because Parker quipping is, in part, a way to distract himself from how scary the fight is. When he's not quipping, he's gone past fear and to rage. And a superhumanly strong and fast genius is not someone you want in a cold, calculating rage.

A 1 v 1 against mysterio without illusions is hardly a fight at all, beck ain’t escaping that
I mean mysterio was never good at hand to hand combat he is more of an illusionist
Why would the master of illusions fight hand on hand with a super strong teenager, wth
mysterio isn't a fighter lol he needs the illusions to stand a chance.
Spider-Man: "Dude, I bitch slapped Thanos, what makes you think you can take me?"

Mysterio : Thanos bitchslapped YOU, Steve layed you out, Starlord slapped you, Vulture made you look like a jobber..and even I trashed you with a Train. You're nothing, Ironboy Jr."
Everyone wants to recreate the super-soldier serum, but no one is looking at replicating Peter and how strong he is?
To be fair, spider-men would be much more difficult to control than Captain America 2.0. Not to mention no one (except Ned and Peter himself) really knows how Spider-Man came to be, he just someday started to swing around in a hoodie with no background and no face. Everyone knows how Captain America was "born" so it's much easier to replicate.

1:10 the start of one of the greatest spiderman moments we have ever witnessed!!! In love with the suit and the screenplay
Mysterio’s last words are some of the realest words ever spoken in a Spider-Man movie
The fact that Edith said "Welcome back, Peter" and instantly asked him if he wanted to cancel all drones shows that Tony knew that Peter would still make mistakes and even in his death is trying teaching Peter to be better than him.
1:40 “Said I was…unstable.”
I love that homage to Steve holding Mjolnir in Endgame at 0:14
This was such a nice sequence. It's a defining moment where Peter Parker finally stops doubting himself, and regains his focus. A glimpse of his true potential as he unknowingly steps away from Tony's shadow and into the hero he is destined to be, and eventually grow into. The "birth" of "The Amazing Spider-Man".
The relatable, struggling hero who experiences loss, gets beaten down mentally and physically... But always finds a way back up, no matter how bad his odds are, or how bad he messes things up.
He starts off in Civil War and Homecoming looking up to heroes as a role model, and trying to figure out his place in a world of bigger heroes. Just a young, inexperienced hero-to-be wanting to make a real difference, and looking for moral support. A direction.
After Tony's death, he is down, and has lost himself. He is stuck in his self-doubt, and mistakenly believes he had to be his mentor's replacement. That he had to live up to Tony's legacy.
As he goes off to confront Beck, he grows, and matures a bit. He finally deals with the problem he created head-on on his own. This is Peter Parker finally getting back up, and realizing his own path as a hero. The path that will set him towards the hero is is meant to be. "Spider-Man".
The films up to here aren't about "the hero" but about the ordinary teenager who becomes "the hero". It's about Peter Parker maturing into the amazing hero he will soon become. Learning, and finding his way into it, one conflict at a time. One mistake at a time. The development of a not-so-confident teenager into his own kind of hero, who, despite his fears, flaws, and many mistakes, ultimately deals with the weight of responsibilities, and selflessly fights as hard as he can to do the right thing.
Something I realize is that when "Beck" seems to be apologizing and hands over the glasses, Peter still looks more pissed off than ever rather than softening up, because he knows it's a trick.
Peter: execute them all
Mysterio: This was the moment I knew. He f**ked up.
And it was at this moment he knew, he fucked up**
My favorite thing about the film was the black-red suit.
So simple, yet so complex underneath.
And the producers did an amazing job with the rule "Show don't tell" and executed it perfectly.
We saw visually that the suit is fire retardant, is extremely durable, tear resistant and composed of materials that deflect moisture, which explains how he didn't get water-boarded by the mask, because it never got wet to begin with.
Plus, it’s the best Spidey movie suit we’ve gotten yet. The black Raimi suit still suffers from the flaw of being too Raimi (raised webbing, unmoving eyes, hell it doesn’t even look like the symbiote suit from the comics), and the TASM2 suit is like the most generic design ever.
Also at least partially bullet proof since there's no way Peter didn't get shot even once in the battle but he's still doing mostly fine apart from a limp, especially inside the bridge.
0:45 you can see that Peter's suit takes a bullet from almost point blank..... the suit is bullet proof
Still one of the best Spider-man movies ever
looks like he's still holding back 😂 if he didn't he would kill everyone he punched instantly.

A lost of innocence moment right there for Pete. Well that's how adults world works, Spider-Man. Gotta grow up if you want to do the right thing.

A really cool detail is also how the program "saw" Beck standing somewhat close to Peter but we couldn't see him because the illusions were still intact hence why the program asked if the drones should really shoot while the "clone" of Beck stands behind the drones.
In other words, Beck was already trying to kill Peter and used the drones with illusions as a further distraction. Crazy!!!

Plus it didn’t really have any impact on the world at large, just one small town which could’ve easily been hushed up. Then Wanda went into isolation. @@theguy3129 Tony stark's bitch? That implies that Peter always follows Tony around, which he doesn't. Besides, in a world full of superheroes and you're the rookie, you're bound to idolize the said superheroes.
Because in the comics no one mentored him he had to kind of learn all this on his own. That's why people are hating
I love that peter is finally capable of letting his senses take over.
Loved how like 10 drones chased spider-man and the other 1000 just did nothing...
Beck was using a portion of the drones to fight back Peter while keeping enough up to bring the simulation back online.
If they utilized the drones properly there wouldn’t be a third Spider-Man movie
@@normalstuff2884 even if he probably did
Spider-Sense is no joke

That scene on the bridge. The illusion scene. THAT SCENE! is MASTERFUL!!!
Somewhere in the multiverse, Mysterio truly is a pure good superhuman that tries to prevent other dimensions from suffering the losses he has.
I love this movie because finally they adapted Mysterio in a live action film
This part showed that Holland's Spidey isn't Iron Boy Jr. He is Spider-Man. He didn't have Tony Stark, He didn't have Shield. He was fighting a super strong, almost Invincible enemy, on his own. And he won. This shows he is not Iron Boy. He is Spider-Man. And yes he fought the vulture alone in Homecoming. So yes. He was never dependant on Stark.
U can't explain this to those toxic Spiderman fans. They will still find an excuse to trash him
@@siddharth_0771 Exactly man. I just hate how they don't appreciate actors for their work. I love all three Spiderman.
Yet he’s dependent on using starks technology to create his suit.
@@crosssalem4129 Peter used tech in comics too
@@crosssalem4129 Bro do you expect him to fight in his regular clothes. From where could he make his suit when he was in the middle of nowhere?
1:37 godly acting skills
In this movie we can see Peter developing as a man. This is the breakpoint where Peter finally stop being a dependent boy and turns into an independent man, closer to what we see in the comics
0:31 That is badass
2:57 my brain to me playing any rpg game
Mysterio lying on the ground kinda reminds me of the green goblin death scene. They both died from their own weapons and both times the spider sense saved peter
2:50 you can tell that Beck just started recording
0:42 Beck says that he has contingency plans and at 3:35 "They believe anything" this two parts are foreshadowing the post credit scene, Beck's contingency plan if he fails is to relieve spiderman's identity, he already planed everything
Edit: It was Beck that won the battle not peter
Spider-Man won the battle. Beck won the war. Cheers
@@KingArthur7777xbox Dunno Spider-man is alive while Beck is dead. Spider-man may have been exposed and branded as a traitor but he still has Stark's tech at his disposal so its kinda mute. If he were a broke kid I might think differently but its obvious that he still has Stark and Shield's backing. I'm guessing they are going to throw some in-universe bs to make those two things not work. I'm dreading the sequel and how they nerf Spider-man again with some bs how everyone is doing something else.
I don’t see the identity reveal going anywhere. There’s so many ways to just cover it up, “disprove” it, or prove Beck manipulated everyone
@@tyes77 I was simply providing the idiom to the original poster. I don’t actually think that Beck won anything. He just caused a minor inconvenience for Peter most likely, if that (considering how revealing the identities of these superheroes in the MCU has little to no impact overall).
@@KingArthur7777xbox other than Peter is absolutely against people knowing he's spidey
The title is wrong, it’s called Peter’s tingle.
I think you mean Peter Tingle
That name sucks and you know it.
Spidey/spider sense is the only correct title
the Hyper Tingle
it's either spidey sense, or peter tingle as used in the movie for comedy. wtf is this hyper awareness shit. he even put it in quotation marks. who the f is he quoting. is the uploader stupid??
While i didn't really like a lot of things in this movie, I can't deny this was one of the more creative Spider-man fights
I agree. The Mysterio fight scenes, especially this one, made up for a lot of the film's shortcomings IMO. They're just so well done, but then again, that's not surprising from Marvel.
If they continue the path they've set this MCU Spider-Man on, he's going to easily be the strongest and most powerful version of Spider-Man we've gotten in live-action. I adore the Tobey and Andrew movies but not once have they shown us Spider-Man being this cracked. The amount of focus, awareness, and efficient reactions required to pull this off is a much higher "power scale" than the versions of Spider-Man we've seen before, and this is at 17yo. Imagine this Peter after being Spider-Man for 8 years like we got in the PS4 game, he'd be insanely over powered compared to Tobey or Andrew. I hope they don't get super lazy with these movies as they have with pretty much all their other content lately. I know the Homecoming trilogy isn't near perfect, but neither were the last two versions.
Glad to see SOMEONE gets it. None of them were perfect, but they are all amazing in their own ways.
I have liked how the Spider-sense is useful to predict dangers coming from out of nowhere, but this scene shows that when Peter gets concentrated and gives all his senses into the Spider-sense, it becomes an OP ability
Absolutely fantastic acting from Jake Gyllenhaal as always.
peter is such a nice boy. he even said thank you to some glasses😭
I like to think that in 3:14 while he's looking up all relieved he's not only thanking Edith but Tony too
*"Spidey-Sense" or "Peter Tingle" would be more appropriate.
Still, great scene!
Love Mysterio's last line. Always putting the truth in plain sight!
I can’t help but cringe and say “spidy sense” under my breath every time s-t like “hyper awareness” or “Peter tingle” is used. But it’s still awesome.
"Hyperawareness" is used as a self-explanatory term for the sense - particularly for people unfamiliar with the classic Spider-Man ability.
"Peter tingle" is Aunt May's name for it - which I'll accept, though we know Peter prefers his own term. I cringe over it now and then, but it has led to so many laughs.
I do love how involved this Aunt May is. So "Peter Tingle" is growing on me.
It only took one in a half movies .
