    About Anders ”Henkan” Henriksson:
After studying at the Edsberg Music Institute under Professor Hans Leygraf, he was employed at the record company EMI, responsible for classical music releases. It was then that the musical focus shifted from classical music to pop music. The band The Shanes asked for help with some chords, leading to a collaboration that resulted in several top ten chart placements.
Henriksson had been involved in an early version of the group The Mascots at Adolf Fredrik's Music School, but it was as a producer that he would collaborate with them and many other pop groups in the following years. In addition to Shanes and Mascots, collaborations followed with Thorstein Bergman, Tom & Mick & Maniacs, Hounds, Horanges, Marianne & the boys, and Red Squares. Starting in 1965, with the single "The one for you", the collaboration with the pop group Tages began, which became particularly fruitful, both musically and commercially. In 1967, Henriksson had a total of 27 Swedish number ones with Tages and other bands. In 1969, Tages changed their name to Blond for an international launch. Thanks to the production of their album "The Lilac Years", Henriksson had the opportunity to work at Abbey Road Studios with record producer George Martin, where he produced, among other things, two albums with the British bands Quatermass and Ginhouse.
During the first half of the 1970s, Henriksson pursued several music projects, including the Swedish power trio Life (1970), Sommarfilosoferna (1970), Baltik (1973), and Ablution (1974).
Together with Karin Stigmark he started Multimusik record company. They released several albums including "The Star series", (”Svensktoppen 1-3” and ”Kavalkad 1-3” & ”Star Hits 1-5” and many more)
Also "Ablution", Seaweed Garlands (Peter Lundblad), Karin Stigmark med kompisar and more. The vocal group AJAX appeared on several of these albums where they performed most of the songs.

Other collaborations and productions included Svenne & Lotta, Peter Lundblad, Thorleifs, David Garriock, Janne "Lucas" Persson, Duane Loken, Thomas Munck, Bernt Staf, Anders F. Rönnblom, Scafell Pike, and more. He contributed to the Melodifestivalen with several entries, in which he also participated as a musician and conductor.
In 1976, Henriksson produced Magnus Uggla's album "Livets teater". Over 40 years, a close collaboration developed, and together they wrote songs like "Jag mår illa", "4 sekunder", "Trubaduren", "Kung för en dag", "Hotta brudar", "Efterfest", "För kung och fosterland", and many more.
During the 1980s and 1990s, Henriksson also served as musical director and musician in various entertainment programs on TV, including Måndagsbörsen, Lena Maria Show, Det kommer mera, and, as before, Melodifestivalen. He collaborated with Janne "Loffe" Carlsson and composed his signature tune "Är man glad ska man sjunga", with lyrics by Peter Ström. He continued to write, arrange, and produce music. Additionally, he collaborated with Håkan Hagegård, The Boppers, Chips, Reeperbahn, Arja Saijonmaa, Strix Q, Chattanooga, Magnum Bonum, Coste Apetrea, Double Fantasy, Cyndee Peters, and Lill-Babs. Henriksson's son Fredrik was involved in Strix Q's song "Kanske stjärnorna vet" (1982) and was part of the synth-pop duo Double Fantasy.
Henriksson co-founded the Synchro Sound Music studio and publishing house with Coste Apetrea. They created and produced music of all kinds for various purposes, including relaxation albums, children's records, advertising music, radio and TV jingles, such as Lilla Sportspegeln and the emergency jingle for the Swedish Radio Traffic Department ("car horn"). They also composed music for various sports events such as Mr. Olympia with Dougie Lawton and the 1993 Ski World Championships in Falun. Perhaps most famously, they composed the signature tune and music for the children's program Björnes magasin.
Anders Henriksson is buried at Adolf Fredrik's cemetery in Stockholm.
