I totally agree with the wife is the wife and the mother is the mother. My mom and I was best friends, and she has been gone for 4 years and one of the things i learned about relationships is not to involve my mother in my marriage. Mom and wife STAY IN YOUR LANE in the most loving way possible. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY KIM< AND FAMILY OF MAMAS!!!

I lived that same life you described mother more important than wife. My ex is all for his mother and she gave her kids up
My ex even allowed his mother to elbow my son so hard in his nose she caused him to be deaf and my ex said he deserved to be beaten by his mother. He is grown and asked why she did that to him. She had no answers!! That does not surprise me, evil woman and her son is the same.
Love is right. Some moms act like they are the wife... unfortunately. Just pray
