Hello guys! I'm back into the Age of the Ring mod. Today i'm back with some custom mission maps! This time i'm palying this amazing map: The Battle of Pelennor! This is a custom map originally made for BFME1, i saw this map in a youtube video from Elrohir and i decided to convert such a cool map for Age of the Ring. Well as you might know this is a custom mission map about the battle in the pelennor fields like in the movies. First of all there is an amazing cinematic about Rohan arriving at Minas Tirith that its just fucking amazing, like the other cinematics and camera moves this map has, it was amazing. The Events on this map are like in the movies, first Rohan charges and starts to win the battle, then the Mumakils arrive and you must fight them etc, I will divide the video in parts so you can see all the events are like in the movie or if u want just maybe to see an specific part. Cool scenario
It's really cool but that BFME1 Legolas model really stands out, like he doesn't belong there ;).
Yeah it really doesn't, i just forgot to change him, this was a bfme1 custom map and i converted it with the AotR builder and forgot to change Legolas xD
@@theguyoftheeast1941 Sure, there were many models there ;). But on the other hand it's nice to see side by side how huge difference there is in the quality of those models.

Si, claro, es por eso, la cantidad de unidades en Age of the Ring se nota mucho a la hora de lagearse
battle of the laggy fields!!!! seriously they need to stop with the upgraded models, tone them back down and just make new units....
Well yeah models are very great but then u gotta play on low settings in multiplayer and in some custom maps which its kinda shitty
It's a game engine thing. Unless they get ahold of the SAGE source code, there's nothing they can do to lessen the lag even with better hardware or downgraded graphics. It's the same problem w/ the Generals games especially during late game.

Those Mumakil never had a slaughtering chance because they were slaughtered and such a short time I was actually rooting for the man of the South LOL I know if I was playing you wouldn't have pulled that trick off on me I would have crushed you with all of my elephants at the same time
i dont understand why they make em so long? Esp with all the cutscenes, its not really needed.
