I love Kristin in this interview, you can see how imporant acting is to her and how much of a passion she has for it. She's so chilled and likeable in this ahh
I think this is the first time Kstew seems to be actually comfortable during an interview. Because you know, she wasn't very famous before twilight and maybe it's the fame that makes her so awkward.
@@johnroche1971 You had to be there for all the hate she got from jealous fans back in the day, for no reason. For someone who hates being famous like she says and is crippled by anxiety, the fact that she remained so strong is admirable. Name another celebrity who'd survive after what she's been through at an insanely young age... no one can... it's impossible.

I like this Kristen Stewart. I felt she really nailed this role......... Her character is clearly a vulnerable young girl who has very strong feelings for Chris. So when Chris leaves the reaction she gives is unmistakable heartbreak of a confused vulnerable girl....... Quite sad actually

Watching this interview in hindsight in terms of Kristen Stewart's career...she is mesmerising. The camera loves her and she is such an amazing actress. I admire her choice of roles. Anything she does is brilliant.
@Mixarenan,Rob mentioned in several interviews that he auditioned for the part of Edward because he had just seen Kristen in Into the Wild.....I don't remember which interviews but there a more than a few mostly early ones 2008 when doing promo's for Twilight.....

You could tell that the part at Salvation Mountain was natural, as if the two of them literally showed up with a friend who was filming and just interviewed the guy.

Yeah, this story was amazing. I would love to see On the Road and Into the Wild played back-to-back, compared, and contrasted. It's nice to hear what actually happened on the set and what actually ends up in the movie. Also, it's kind of cool how she understood at such a young age what was "for the movie" and what wasn't. I hope to see her as a director/writer/producer one day. She's been around this business her whole life and acting since she was 8 or 9. She's a very talented young lady.
So this movie was one reason she got casted for Bella. She is really an amazing actress (my fav American actress). I can’t stand how some people hate her but I guess every famous person gets hate no matter how good they are 🥲

This (and a thriller I forgot the name of) was the only role I liked her in :)

I couldn't stand her in the Twilight movies because of all the hype. But she is actually a very likable person (from what I can tell in interviews etc.) and I think her acting skills are underrated. She looks gorgeous in this video as well, her hair is beautiful :)

Lenard Knight wasn’t acting . I rode into Salvation Mountain in 2007 at 6 AM to see Salvation Mountain. Lenard walked up dressed in a wrinkled suit , introduced his self and said would you like to take a tour ?! I said yes - He presented his self to me about the same as he acted in Into The Wild.

People, I know some say Kristen is a natural blond -- she isn't. Her hair color is much darker - actually a brunette - and the picture that is always. ALWAYS. used for "Celebs True Hair Color!" showing blond hair ... it's obviously dyed, probably from a past movie she did, I think Land of Women or something like that, and her dark roots show very clearly. No ifs no buts. She might've been blond when she was a little one, but her hair is a brunette w/o any dyes. Her mom has black hair and I think all her brothers have dark hair as well. I also think her dad has white hair but that's mainly due to aging. I don't believe he had blond hair.
OMG yeah like it was um so beautiful. Lol. I'm not making fun, honestly, I actually find her really cute here. I hope the public eye of Twilight hasn't changed the youthful joy she had with this movie and this interview. She seems like a really sweet girl. Stay true, Kristen Stewart.

Back then i think she was wayy more comfortable with interviews and stuff, cause as you notice she's not like as tounge-tied finishing her sentences. i just think now doing all the twilight interviews she feels more pressure so she's more nervous speaking about it. I love herr so much
this girl is beyond gorgeous! its sad that her reputation has been tarnished from those terrible Twilight movies, she needs to go back to blonde (which she looks 100X better) and she needs to do more rolls that challenge her interests, shes actually a really good and passionate actress. The best thing about her how you can read her face like a book, she's always SOO awkward in twilight interviews because she obviously hates thinking about that terrible series. She looks happy here cuz she was!

its amazing after all these years, i think that there is still so much more to Chris Super Tramp’s story. Huge gaps in time and things he did not document. perhaps things his mom still has in the journal and other items.
the more i think about it, he was scared at times. and even regretted things. he did not document or record all of those fears and moments.
i think McCandless wrote about things that he feared after he conquered the fear.
i think at the end, he was ready to document the entire journey in retrospect and we never got to read about or see it in any way.
he was coming back. and then realized he could not, but was too scared and too weak to truly write or document that last bit of overcoming.
