i love how defensive they were, in pvp you never knew if the enemy would parry or slash. in pve the slash would make you duck under some attacks and avoid them completely

Doing Midir first try but dying to dancer it's like so me. I may have done Dancer more than 10 times and still I die at least once, but Midir is a first try. Her moveset must be something that fucks up my brain. maybe after Elden Ring and all those delayed attacks I could finally learn her properly

My favorite DS3 build used the Pontiff Rings with the Old Wolf CGS and the Frayed Blade weapon art. You could proc the damage buff with one or two uses of it, plus the bleed build up was noticeable, too!

I remember doing shit like this but for the Dragonslayer's Armor axe (forgot the exact name), like killing dancer just before the deacons to just pancake the entire game with it. Fun times
Dude gotta try Hollowslayer GS. Super underrated and moveset is clean asf, same moveset as Drakeblood gs. Also most enemies are hollow, so you get a NUTS boost to dmg in 99% of fights.
Man I beated Darkeater Midir only once out of the 11 journeys I played (I usually skip DLCs bc idk) and I only did it for the Spear of the Church covenant I didn't know that sword existed. After watching this video I want the sword so bad but another part of me doesn't want to try and kill Midir XD

Or maybe having a 15 years old Pc makes every game harder to run I don't know about the last faith After google it needs direct X11, CPU was created before dx10 was a thing I think

My fondest memory with the Frayed Blade is spamming the multislash move on the Deacons of the Deep and having it break within like 20 seconds.
