- Hello everyone!!!! My name is Charlie and I have moved to Orlando Florida to work at Walt Disney World as a cast member for an entire year doing the UK Cultural Representative Program.
I have finally recorded a sit down video talking to you all about how my program is going! Hopefully I have answered many of your burning questions! Like I said after a month of hard work, revising and training I am officially a server at the Rose and Crown in the Uk pavilion in Epcot! This is very exciting and new for all of us who have progressed into service!

Congratulations Charlie and friends on becoming servers. I was a server at Disney for 10 years back in the 90s! Such a great opportunity. You have to stay at the Animal kingdom lodge club level. Very Charlie friendly!😊

You can get a baked potato at Wendy's. You can get sour cream, butter, chili, chives, cheese and bacon on the side.
Here’s a fast way to cook a jacket potato. Wash it off and dry it. Poke some holes in it with a fork. Microwave it about 2.5 minutes on each side then wrap in aluminum foil for 5 minutes
Hey Charlie. You are the best! You have a spark and positive energy that will get you far. And many of the things you miss are true for many of us. I moved to Texas more than 30 years ago from small town Illinois. And I still miss the change of seasons. I miss the snow. And I miss the leaves falling off, and the cool fall days. And I even miss some of the food from the Midwest. And when I visit Chicago or New York City, I totally hate the lack of public transportation here, and also being able to walk to so many places. So it’s ok that you still miss the UK and home….but also love Florida. Such is life! 🙌❤️

Charlie... Nice video and a great big beautiful Thank You to Alex, you and the whole cast for making Penny's birthday dinner extra special. Please make sure Alex knows that we are sorry that we didn't say a proper goodbye...our neighbor called while we were having dessert to tell us that a pipe busted and it was like a geyser in front of our house. But until that moment we were enjoying dinner and having the best time chatting with Alex.

I know what you mean about liking both UK and Florida. We are lucky enough to have bought a villa in Orlando so since we retired we have spent Jan/Feb and half of March at the villa and rest of year in the UK. We have the best of both worlds and miss the worse of the winter in the UK and don’t go to Orlando when it’s too hot.
Sunday dinner is available, not a million miles form you in Davenport at the Best of British cafe and pub
Dont forget to travel, florida has amazing beaches, back in my day we had a week training in each role, i worked 10 months as a server and loved every minute of it, things changed thats a good thing,
Travel guys get back to back days off even if you just go to miami or the keys, i loved my program, if you get the chance reapply for another orogram, yummy jobs have just advertised their resort programs , i was to go back in 1999 to train as a manager at the grand floridian but hurt my back so my brother did my program, hes now a manager at the boardwalk

What are your plans when you finally return to the UK?
When you finish your 13 month program, do you get the chance to apply to be a Disney cast member again.

Dang! I was at Rose & Crown recently, and did keep an eye out for you! I’ll see you at some point, surely! Congratulations. There are a lot of opportunities at Disney to move upwards. To add..Epcot is where I visit the most, and I’ve met many people there that have stayed in the US after their initial program ended. I hope your options continue to grow whether staying here or back at home. 😊

Panda Express started in Pasadena, CA as a sit down restaurant called the Panda Inn. I ate at the Panda Inn many years ago before they started Panda Express and it was one of the best Chinese Restaurants I have been to. It is still there in fact. Not sure if the quality has gone down now that Panda Express is open but the fact that it hasn’t closed should be an indication of its quality.

I have the same problem with my daughter. She lives in Germany were from Germany. She works in Salzburg and Austria at and I've already told you about her job as a plaid at the von trap. I'm not going to bring it up again because Disney doesn't want to hear about it but I love it and I love California Disney it is too hot in Florida for me. I cannot live there, but we love to visit love Disney cruise as well from Port Canaveral... I miss going on cosmic rewind. It's my very favorite for sure. I miss the devil Decker. I miss you Ben. I miss so much about Pay in general. I was shopping in the UK love some of the area street shopping so much and I love love love the train love the underground. And I love your show.!! Charlie, it’s the Florida pizza that sucks. You need to have pizza in Boston or New York. My 2 granddaughters are cast members also
and they hate Florida pizza too.

California is very expensive. But the summers are a lot cooler compared to Florida. I guess that would be a reason it is so crowded and expensive out here.

You can cook a jacket potato in the microwave and it takes a lot shorter time than the oven and tastes the same.
Pizza in Florida is a different breed of pizza. It's AWFUL! Please don't judge American pizza by what you've tasted in Florida.
