Coppi vs Merckx ?? 🙂 For those who know cycling it's ko verdict : Coppi is the pure true emblem of bycicle rider, the greatest of cycling history.

Thanks for sharing this, gives a very nice new perspective from a fellow rider and competitor.
I’ve always admired Coppi’s riding effectiveness, sitting so low and all power going to the pedals. Upper body is comfortably low and relaxed and it all looks so natural and smooth. Like they said “riding on air”

It would be interesting to know what happened when Raphael Geminiani took Fausto on holiday to Burkino Fasso in Africa ?
I understood he died on return from that trip; all too soon . it seems to be the way with legends they are taken from us well before their time . i understood this holiday was taken at the end of his career when in his early 40s not long after his graceful appearance at the Herne Hill velodrome, London.

I had a 23.5 inch (60 cm) Raphael Geminiani bicycle I stripped down and rebuilt back in Belfast in 1970. Sadly, Ileft it behind in abicycle repair shop in Warrenpoint, Co Down, in 1972.
