      @@HowToExcelBlog Did you know that you can make Chapters on CZcams? You'd have to slightly reformat the description of your video from:
      1. CHAR function 0:17
      2. TRIM function 1:29
      3. EXACT function 2:39
      to something like this:
      0:00 - 0. Intro
      0:17 - 1. CHAR function
      1:29 - 2. TRIM function
      2:39 - 3. EXACT function

    So this video gives me hope.
    The function‘substitute’ reads the sentence and replaces a word within the sentence. I’ve been trying to find a formula to read a row of words to find a specific word and return all of the rows data. I cannot find any help with this and I’ve watched hours and hours of videos. This gives me hope that I’ll find it! Thank you.

    This seems so close to what I’m trying to do but it doesn’t seem to do what I need I’m looking for almost the inverse in text( e.g. “Mike will send Tom red apples “in one cell and “Tom will receive red apples from Mike” in another cell and I want them to appear side by side in separate cells

    • @HowToExcelBlog
      @HowToExcelBlog  Před 4 lety +1

      Not sure what you mean by not standard? Those where all custom formats shown, like the phone number format I'd say is not standard.
