- The day has finally arrived when we are adding the first plants to the Proven Winners' Signature Garden! I am so excited to add these gorgeous SPRINTER® Boxwoods and LITTLE LIME PUNCH® Panicle Hydrangeas to the two berms that flank the entrance to the garden. No planting would be complete at Creekside without using Bio-tone and Land & Sea Compost from Espoma. This is just the beginning of creating a spectacular Signature Garden!

I know it’s not on the same scale as Creekside but earlier this week I transplanted one shrub and planted another and you would’ve thought I’d won a prize!!! It feels so good to be planting this time of year! Coastal NC zone 8a. Have a great weekend everybody!!
I'm on the southeastern NC coast, zone 8a as well. I have added space to my backyard planting beds and have planted my shrubs. They can get established before next summer's heat kicks in. This past summer was brutally HOT here. But right now, I love looking at my little newly planted shrubs!
@@jenniferhooks2454 Yes! I lust planted a vintage gold false cypress that just shines in the garden! I see it all the time from my kitchen window and I’m looking forward to watching it grow! Good luck with your new plantings! 🌳
Jenny and Jerry, your property is so amazing already, adding this signature garden is going to make this a little piece of heaven on earth! It’s beautiful already can’t wait to see the finished project and then watch it evolve over the years.
We can feel your excitement. And we are here for it!
That straight line makes my heart happy. 😂
Beautiful! It’s amazing how the compost finishes it off. The garden is on it’s way to spectacular!
I just enjoy seeing other people deal with our rock and clay. It is a real learning experience. This is going to be beautiful!!
You are the sweetest thing. I could feel your joy and excitement. The new garden is going to be sooooo beautiful. ❤ thank you and Jerry so much for sharing this journey. ❤
I love it, Jenny! Super photo of you and Jerry ♥️
I think it so much more restful to see DIRT than to crowd too many plants in. I love love my Sprinters 💚🌿💚 they make a gorgeous hedge….GREAT JOB 👍
Jenny and Jerry, loved watching this hard work garden installation. Can’t wait to see the whole project completion. 🇨🇦🥰
That is going to be an amazing show, for sure. I can't wait to see the annuals you plant!
Congrats on the kickoff to planting this new garden! 🎉🌼
Beautiful job and so much work!! It looks great! I could picture a couple of rows of tall tulips or maybe alliums between your rows for some formal spring interest. Just a suggestion. I’m excited to see it all come together 😊
Jenny, Jerry,
Way to go--looks great!!! 😃
That shot of you and Jerry should be on your Christmas card! Lovely. Glad to be watching this new project with you! Best!! 😊
Looks so beautiful. The hard work will certainly pay off. Thanks again for sharing, have a wonderful day 😊
Good Morning Jenny and Jerry. It feels like 32* here in Ohio. High though of 60*. Have a awesome weekend . How’s the new structure coming along? Can’t wait to see the new signature garden progress!
I loved seeing this all take place. It will be gorgeous❤️
This is going to be amazing! So exciting to see the progress!
🤩 this is going to create such a charming and stately entrance to garden!
Morning Jenny n Jerry so happy you are starting to plant your signature garden
Me too!!
Its 28 here in NE Tn this morning
@@terresiagregg9326it’s 28 in VA and our first frost! I’m still cleaning out flower beds!
It’s so exciting to see plants going into the signature garden.
Okay, you know someone is going to ask. That someone is me! How come you didn't use your special compost mulch blend instead of the Land and Sea? So happy you got your plantings in. I know you are so excited and it shows in the video. Can't wait to see the babies grow up! Thank you so much for sharing your projects with us. I just love them!
Wow Lovely Plants ~
Thank you for good sharing 😊 LIKE it
My friend, have a good relationship 😊
Awesome! You Creeksiders are rockin' and thrivin'.
I am sure I am one of thousands marking my calendar for a trip to Dallas 😊❤
This was such a fun video! I am so excited for you guys, and for those of us who will watch it develop from afar!
You all worked so hard! Love how it looks. Can’t wait to see the garden next spring. Have a blessed weekend.
It is looking FABULOUS 😊!!!
what a lot of work looks so good thank you for taking us a long on this new adventure
Yay!👏 How exciting, the signature garden goes in!!! Lookin good ya’ll😉
👏🏼🎉 It’s going to look great! So excited to see progression of this garden! Re: planting between sprinter’s & hydrangeas- I like the negative space between as it brings a beauty & rest for eyes as you enter. Once it is mulched, etc., there will be such nice definition! Depending on space & how slope goes down from shrubs to entrance path, some low annuals on either side maybe but I know it will be beautiful. May your hard work be blessed with success! ❤
It’s exciting to watch the progress of the signature garden 💚💚💚
The berm looks awesome !!! You guys have just crammed all kinds of wonderful projects this year !!!❤
love the combination of these plants! I have little lime punch and it's still tiny, but can't wait to see it grow!😀
Plant bulbs, tulips and alliums to cover the gaps.
Looking good guys. Have a great weekend.
Yes, planting has begun. So excited to watch the planting.
Oh the Angelonia will be so pretty out there ... I used it this year in pots and in ground and loved it ... !!!
So excited for you!!
Tulip bulbs will be great .
Excited about the signature garden!! Just know already it will give us oodles of inspiration(and a little envy). Thrilled for you that it's happening!! 😊❤
Love watching the new gardens and landscape evolve. Very nice and so exciting!
Wow Jenny 🌺.This signature is going to be charming with these pretty plants and the others . Have alovely day .🌺🌻🌺
Very nice! 🙂
Beautiful and so exciting! What about a low-ish annual grass in between the boxwoods and hydrangeas? It would give movement, a different texture, be predictable in size, and the wispiness wouldn’t block the sun from the hydrangeas.
Thanks for the motivation! Moving plants today and hoping to get all tidy for winter
Those are going to be some happy plants! Jenny and Jerry I can’t wait to see this Signature Garden next Spring, it’s going to be amazing! It is always awesome to see how large “Gardeningwithcreekside “ really is.🌺❤️
Jenny you all have a wonderful place and I'm so glad you all are doing so good, keep up the good work and the videos.
So exciting!!! I feel your excitement! Looks fantastic! So glad you had great help (CeeCee and Alissa). That's a lot of plants so I imagine everybody is good and tired.
So nice ! I can’t wait to see the finished garden . I know it’s going to be amazing 💜💗💚🌿💐
It looks so good! I’m excited too. It is going to be so much fun to watch this garden being planted. Thanks for sharing.❤️❤️
It’s looking beautiful. Can’t wait to see everything next season.
The berm is gorgeous i love sprinter and hydrangeas my favorite!
That is already looking so great.
Thank you❣️
Looks like hard work❤️
Hello folks. Excited to watch the development of new garden. Just recently started to cast your blogs on my large screen tv. Oh my how beautiful your place shores up So different from viewing on phone. Thanks for sharing.
Can you tell us how you're going to use the newly constructed shed behind the original "sell" covered houses.
You mentioned moving the potting machine into the new green tunnel with concrete floor.
Always exciting when you start planting a new area ❤
She mentioned before that it is where they will be running their online business. Computers and such are there.
This looks absolutely amazing! Way to go team! I love the thumbnail of today's video.
Thanks so much!!
That will be great winter structure! I love it!
So much work; amazing job!
Looks very pretty ❤❤
👍 looks beautiful.
Looks gorgeous. I thought Miss Brenna would help!
There’s so much invested in this signature garden! Haven’t you said PW isn’t supplying the plants or paying you to add the garden? How does one recoup the expense?
So many projects going on! I feel like yall do more in a day than I do in a year 😅
Nice! It would be beautiful! I can't find biotone or land and see compost and if I buy on line is expensive! It pays to have a nursery!
We are working on having it available online gardeningwithCreekside.com
Your explanation about everything you’re doing and why is very informative. Just one little suggestion about delivery of information would be to try to reduce the number of times the word uhmmm is used. Trying to do everything you are doing takes a lot and my hat is off to you and your family.
Good morning Jenny
Morning!
This is going to Pop your nursery business off …. Beautiful 🤩 area.
Looks fabulous! I hope PW is helping with the cost!!
Watching from Delaware.
Lordy you're making my back hurt just watching yall. A nice hot tub would feel great after that.
My mom always taught me, plant to grow not to show!
What are the zone recommendations for your plants?
Your plans will be gorgeous.
❤
Jenny,
25°?!!! 😯 Brrrrr!!! 😬😬😬
Looks so good! Im excited for you guys! Thank you for taking us along for the ride!
🙋
Thank you Jenny and Jerry. The signature garden is coming along nicely !🦃🍁🍂💚🙃
Epic! Did you say previously that the entrance path will be flagstone?
Could you have made a small slit in the center of that pipe for the metal of the tape measure and snapped it in so when you moved the pipe the tape moved with you????
Good idea, but trying to put a small slit in PVC would be a bit of a challenge 😉
So the drip line you guys put down near sprinters and hydrangeas does that line have holes every 18" or do you put individual emitters to each bush?
Emitters are every 18”, thanks for asking for clarification!
Hi 👋 Jenny
Little lime can take full sun in 3 digits temperature?
Yes
Did proven winners send out a layout plan for the signature garden or did u guys have free reign? 🌿 🌹
We get to create our own garden and have complete free reign in how we design & plant it.
I am surprised you did not use your hore hory to bust up the roots a bit. They look pretty tight.??
They were fully developed but not root bound.
Ha plantar garagem
doh....i thought biotone was supposed to go IN the hole before the plant is put in lol.
That is certainly the standard way of doing it, but you can add it to the hole as we did here. As long as it is in contact with the rootball then it will do its job 😊
Perhaps PW angelface angelonia wedge wood blue for between the hedge this year? So excited to see the space develop! #FutureFieldTripFromCharlottesvilleVa
Well.. I just finished the video... angelonia- great minds think alike.
One year I planted some semi dwarf loropetalums. Then I planted lantana. BIG MISTAKE!!! Those lantana totally overgrew my loropetalums and crowded them out. When the lantana was pulled out, I found little dead shrubs. Lesson learned. . . the hard way.
Why are you putting so many ads in? I understand a couple but you do way too many
To my knowledge there are 4 in a 37 minute video. I say way more than that during a 30 min tv show. (If there are more than 4 then that is CZcams and not us.)
