I love how hyped up Russell is all the time. He like a lil kid inside, except he is amazingly well spoken and intelligent with massive vocabulary. :)
Conan is incredible as a host. He just goes with the flow and does great improv with his guests. He's also probably the only host who can to justice to the likes of Russell Brand and Bill Burr...

As a Brit, most of the population thought we'd mess up the Olympics before they happened. We had no faith that we'd do a good job, as we're quite negative. When they were on though, we were very happy with them, and when the Olympics was over, we thought we'd done a great job! And at the very least, we didn't have a malfunctioning Olympic ring.

Agreed. It was a great time, we'd had really crap weather apart from those three weeks. I had loads of discussions that centred around genuinely feeling proud to be British, which was a new sensation for a lot of people. Most UK residents do like it, but next to the pride other nations have, we're quite tepid.
Cameron Amess Aw don't be so hard on yourself! I honestly think the weather plays a big role, just today it was real crappy outside and I was feelin' all sorts of down! The day before when it was bright and sunny I was happy! I'm pretty sure there are studies that support my claim I thought I read it somewhere. Anyways I'm sure Britain is an awesome country, I hope to one day pay a visit there! :-)

Exactly, people only started expressing positive interest in it at all when Mitt Romney misguidedly echoed what most Britons were already saying. We weren't having a foreigner suggest we're not good enough, that's *our* job! Few were truly optimistic about it, though, until the Opening Ceremony went well. Russell wasn't just joking here, he was genuinely trying to keep expectations low, lol

I have the same accent when I watch Conan on TBS.
Once I had a dream about going to party but I found it dull so I thought I'd go on a dragon hunt. And so I did. I walked around the block and found a dragon's lair. I approached it when all of a sudden I realised I don't know how to kill it, so I hid while bringing my tablet out to google "How to kill a dragon that lives around my block..".
The dragon saw me and I was terrified as he looked down own me (he was crouched over me). He then said "THat's an awful tablet you've got there. Why don't you come along and we'll get you a real one? I've heard the iPad 3 is a really good one!"
Turns out he was a salesman... I was disappointed in the dragon's choice of career and left.

He also should stay out of English pubs for awhile as some guys would probably punch his face in as regards the other garbage comments he made.
