  • I was approached by a client to figure out a way to cover up their hot tub / jacuzzi in their new home that they were NOT going to use. So we came up with a design that would allow them to cover it and not remove anything. This gives them the freedom to get what they want and be able to sell it easily since no changes were made to the home. Not to mention, storage is also worked into this unit and it is strong enough to stand on.

    I did want to address a couple of things that you may notice while watching. Stop dadoes can be done on either the tablesaw or the router table and if you want stop dadoes, the router table is the way to go. I do not have a router bit so that is a problem for me currently. This design was made so the client would not have to do any kind of renovations but still be able to utilize the space by covering it.
