Hi Ellie, thank you for this video....its made me feel so much better to know someone as proactive and organised as yourself gets mum burnout too! My husband works 4 on 6 off, but has been doing a lot of overtime lately to put money towards nursery fees for when I go back to work at the end of July! It's really hard on your own and I look forward to his days off so I can have a little lie in and some me time!

Last week a mum vlogger was just back from Disney w/her family. Spent a fortune. She asked her teen what was her favourite memory(referring to the Disney hol) but.. The teen said her favourite memory was her mum bringing a picnic to her school sports day in primary school, that cost her mum no more than a loaf of bread. The teen pulled this memory out in 5 seconds flat.
A shocked mum for sure.

Omg! I so needed this today!! My 1 year old has Decided this week he doesn’t want to sleep and has been up since 4am. He also shares a room with his big sis (3 years old) so the whole family is now shattered and it’s only 10am 😫 my little girl nursery in 2 hours and I don’t know how she’s going to make it thru haha. We can do it 😂. Loving your content hon xx

@@ElliePolly thanks 😊 I hope so too haha. I have been wanting to start my girl in swimming lessons but I just don’t know how I will do it with my boy in tow - my husband works long hours now everything’s so expensive. Must be hard for you x

I feel you hun! The days I’m off with my 3 yr old you feel like you have to take them out!and spend money! But now I do something every other week (like softplay, gymnastics etc!) and we just do house chores, play games etc stay home. You love your kids but you need your own space sometimes xx

I am also feeling the burn out… my nine -month-old hasn’t been sleeping well for the last two weeks, combination of teething and being ill. Just finding it hard to get the day-to-day bits done when I’ve had hardly any sleep and my partner is at work all day 😢
