Ducks tight end Spencer Webb dies in accidental fall

University of Oregon football player Spencer Webb died after falling and hitting his head near Triangle Lake west of Eugene. The sheriff's office said it appeared to be an accident.

Just an absolute tragedy! He was a great, positive kid who came a long way to succeed! Just the totally *good* stereotypical of the Ducks program out of state kid who came here because he wanted to be HERE and worked his tail off to succeed and lead by example. He's been in so many YT video's sharing tours of the facilities and welcoming recruits and Freshman, etc., just an utterly heartbreaking loss of a quality young person!

The very first play on offense against Georgia this year BETTER be some gem that Dillingham draws up to get the tight end a TD or a HUGE chunk of yardage.....and then when the whistle blows to kill the play....they should stop the game and carry the ball to the stands to present to Spencer's gf, family and friends!!
That's the classy move I EXPECT from lanning, Dillingham and Co. to carry on the Oregon HISTORY and LEGACY.... and tradition.....to honor a great man and great Duck!!
