Make sure you clean off the contacts for the charger. Sometimes you'll get black sand that will stick to the magnets and it won't make a good connection when charging.
Daniel, clean the contacts with alcohol or a pencil eraser. Be sure to do the ones in the charger, too. (Coca Cola is also a good corrosion cleaner, especially on car battery terminals.)

Take your focus off the wind thing. You mention that often in your videos. I watch for the content, at the beach, with the wind. This is as real as it gets! You keep it real, thank you!

That's reality! I found 28 tent stakes in three hours at Manresa yesterday. Only excitement was two coins spills where I plucked out several quarters and dimes in one scoop. First thing I do when leaving the beach is deposit the trash in the nearest trash can!
28 tent stakes!! That’a gotta be a record! 🤣 Those coin spills are a blessing on a heavy iron day. I still haven’t been to that beach, or Sunset. I want to check them out soon

Use scotchbrite to lightly clean the contacts. Just enough to remove the surface corrosion.

Realistic! That hotel has no signage or obvious windows. On my yearly Monterey vacations, I thought it was a secret gov't laundry facility due to the dryer exhaust smell. There was so much EMI there that my Nox 600 (before I knew how to use it well) was completely scrambled & useless. Am going back in OCT. Better luck on your next outing! 😁
When I was little my mom used to tell me that was a jail for kids that don’t listen and I believed her well into my teens 🤣🤣 The EMI is really bad down by the water treatment place. But I lower my sensitivity and recovery speed and it goes away

Yep...that's a typical beach hunt LOL But every now and then....you see something round and gleaming in the scoop...just often enough to keep us hunting.
Ensure you clean the equipment's battery contact with Isopropyl Alcohol or regular alcohol. I am not quite sure if a small magnet can clean all the ore that may be interfering with the battery charging. Happy to give to the channel a small contribution. Have a good one.

It takes about 10 hrs to fully charge my Equinox 800 via laptop. Weird that it would show fully charged and discharge so rapidly.
I found a large spoon a couple days ago at the beach…it was real…maybe even…too real…

I detected North Myrtle after the 4th and it was terrible. I did find a Sacagawea dollar coin though.
Seems like everyone had a “meh” hunt on the 4th. I had really high expectations for some good drops but it was all zinc and bottle caps 😂

Take a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol and clean off the contacts it might help.
