Nah it's Nomura's garbage , and none of this shit is canon in FF7 and it will never be , the original game wasn't Nomura's so he has no right to make a fake remake changing the plot substantially, they could have made a new game instead

Lol there's alot of ppl who play this game that don't know that you have to consume ATB to charge up the synergy abilities.

Honestly, Sephiroth has some big nuts thinking he can roll up on Zack AND Cloud.
He could defeat both Genesis and Angeal, two other 1st class SOLDIERS singlehandedly.
Sephiroth's confidence is well placed.

Cloud & Zack are strong but any SOLDIER even first class is nothing compared to Sephiroth.
@Thecommander248 Zack was stronger than Genesis and Angeal especially by this point and cloud is not too far behind Zack at this point as well. You can tell he was getting overpowered because he had to split the timelines since he couldn't handle both of them at the same time
Nomura: Remember that KH2 Final Boss fight with Sora and Riku? Man this was such a highlight for me and that fact we got to use a synergy with Zack is part of it.

Just a reminder that anyone that paid attention to the story realizes these two are still in the dark about one another for the most part.
Cloud remembers Zack, but not that he actually died in his world, and his memory of his actual past is still fucked up.
Zack is still largely confused about why Cloud is this sudden badass that can use a Buster Sword. WE know. They don't. Sephiroth is the only one in this equation with any context.
So wait is that zack from another universe???
They showed us like 3 different Zacks in that sequence, 1 went to Biggs and 1 went to find Hojo and 1 went to the church and ended up here with Cloud@@shikutomo3637
@@shikutomo3637yea this Zack is from a world where he didn’t die fighting the Shinto army protecting cloud and they made it to Midgar together. The Zack from clouds timeline which is the og ff 7 world died before cloud made it midgar and reunited with Tifa and joined avalanche

@@seanw4661Yes and no. He recalls how he was about to die, the whispers swayed a bullet and then all the soldiers were gone (he had been transported to the new timeline.... and a bit into the future too, since he shows up after sector 7 has been destroyed.
Barett and Tifa had infiltrated Shinra and there found Aerith and Red. (Which in Remake happend with Cloud present and they all make it out scott free).
And Biggs recalls the same happening to him, so in a sense, he is identical to the Zack that died to the point that we can just claim he IS the same Zack. The whispers more or less just copied (for a lack of a better word) him and dropped the "new" him in an alternate timeline.
Can we all take note that Cloud didn't even see him properly. just instantly knew it was him by the back of his shoulder touching him?
Prior to the Nibelheim incident, Cloud already viewed Zack as someone he could be quite open with about his feelings, insecurities without Zack ever making him feel bad or weird, like he did in Nibelheim when Zack assured him Tifa was safe and he litterally curled into a little ball like a little boy without Zack giving him shit for it, only encouragement. Like i think Zack did also figure out that Tifa was someone he tried to hide from, but just didn't press the issue with him.
And after they escaped, while it is not shown on screen, you have to assume that Zack litterally must have spoon fed him, cleaned him, hugged him and talked to him (that we do see him do in CC) during the months on the run, so while Cloud still is not conciously aware of that, his body just can just instinctively know it's Zack that's next to him.
So basically, due to whispers' interference, Zach ended up surviving the fight in which he was supposed to die. This event created an alternate timeline where Zach, after surviving, helps Cloud to reach Midgar. Subsequently, he proceeds to rescue Aerith. However, inconsistencies arise because when Biggs meets Zach, he tells him that Cloud has been doing merch stuff all this time. This scenario shouldn't be possible in Zach's timeline since Cloud was supposed to be with him the entire time. This confusion extends to Aerith and Cloud hanging out, even though Cloud should not have met Aerith in Zach's timeline. This suggests that Zach is in Cloud's timeline, where he was meant to be dead, and now he is aiding Cloud in the fight against Sephiroth. The mention by Sephiroth, "as worlds unite, so do they part," indicates awareness of the creation of two worlds. Notably, there are two Sephiroth heads, raising more questions. Zach's statement, "as worlds unite, so do they part, but who's to say they can't unite again," hints at the merging of timelines or the potential destruction of one timeline as then there would be 2 clouds and aeriths.
in gameplay theres also hints of the worlds starting to merge, like how some places multiple versions of the mascot Stamp can be seen
Biggs is from main Clouds timeline, he tells Zack that the whispers saved him, but he did not seam to be aware that he was in a new timeline.
And Marlene.... they seem to be setting her up to also be a Cetra, which would explain why she's aware of Aerith liking Cloud, that happenes in the other timeline. And is aware of Sephiroth killing her.
@@Mukationyeah Biggs and Zack got dragged to a different timeline where the team died during the whisper fight. Which leaves the question where is the cloud from that timeline? Cause the shines solider says they are looking for a man with a buster sword and ex solider so cloud exist but he’s missing. The stamp bags are the biggest give away for the different timelines. We have seen 6 different stamps now

And not to mention that in Remake we saw post credit scene with a Zack that arrive near Midgar alone (sure one could argue that he had Cloud just resting to the side, out of view,, but still). And Intergrade saw a Zack standing outside Aeriths church trying to come up with an idea of what to say to Aerith.
Clearly not the same timeline as the one we saw with Zack from the opening of Remake.
Zack is saved by Aerith's white whispers. He tells her that when he's in a coma. Then he caresses her hand and feels it from another reality. Aerith's desire to reunite with Zack is so powerful, she knows about his death and still wanted to change things. I hope part 3 is clearer.
Zack and cloud foghting sephiroth was as hype as miles and peter giving venom a beat down in the air.
"Zack joins the battle" plays as him for literally 2 seconds....
without even using any of his skills, and kept trying to use their synergy skill like "why's not working?!?" while's Zack's empty bar standing there like 💀

This should be part 3 scene where Zack comes help but they blow it all on part 2. They also used Seph final form in part 2 for 0 reasons. Seph in general shows up was too much to be a threat

I wanted more of THIS in Rebirth instead of over 50 games of Queen's Blood. Zack joining in the fight with Cloud. Completely wasted opportunity. I really hope we get this in the sequel.

Not at all, he's happy to see Cloud awake, as the one from his world is still in a coma. Zack is also a bit surprised, as when he first sees Cloud's face, he immediately notices that his eyes now have the same mako infusion that SOLDIERs have

Eh. Gameplay is great but these games are all spectacle with very little earned emotional payoff to me.
Still enjoy PLAYING the game, but if I want emotional weight, I’ll stick to the original. Just my 5 cents.
