I just bought three of these with the expansion batteries. The main unit is currently on sale for $899 with a 200w solar panel (I bought that deal). The expansion batteries are also on sale for about $550 each. I bought three of these so I could run my boiler and fridge which are in different locations in my house. I can charge the third unit to rotate with the two in use. In the dead of winter, I can put my food in a cooler and take it outside. I can piggy back all three of my units so I have heat. I could have bought the F3800 for the price, but the large transfer switch stopped me from wanting to do that. Not to mention, that unit would take a lot more panels to keep going. My units are also portable. I just wanted to get something with all of the hacking that is going on. I feel it is prudent to be safe rather than sorry.
already have it, got it through the BF deals. I'll be using it on my Class B van although my van has 11K of power (800ah lithium), i wanted to use this for those times I'm away from my van (power Starlink, Gazelle gazebo etc)

I've been trying to get into solar power with some power banks and saw this but needed more info because pictures alone didn't answer so many questions and you did a fantastic job answering about 95% of my questions. It was impressive how long it lasted with the fridge. I'm definitely considering this especially with the added app with total control. My only thing is I wonder how many of those extra batteries can you plug in.

What is the wattage of your refrigerator?
I have an Anker 555 which I expected would run my 400 watt fridge for a day. It also only lasted about 13 hours.
Iv been bringing my c1000 with me on the subway everyday to work and iv made so many friends letting people charge their phones , I'd like to talk about it more but iv got a date (thanks to my c1000) ...adios!

Up to now, I have wondered what the real benefit is of these machines. Why not just buy a $20 battery pack to charge your cell phone instead of $1000? But this video shows the value in a home power outage. I am still NOT sure how valuable it is on a weekend camping trip. Thanks!

It will! Good question, I forgot to mention that in the video but it comes with a car socket charger that you plug into the power station's DC charging port (the same one I plugged the solar panels into)

How's the fan noise while using devices?
It makes a bit of a noise for higher wattage devices but nothing bad, definitely not nearly as bad as when fast charging
How long can it power a TV?
I just got my external battery hooked it up seen both the C1000 and C1000X app said I need a firmware update I did it says v1.43 now I can't see the C1000X is there a way to back FIRMWARE OUT ? DELEDTED APP AND REINTALLED no luck Anker closed :(

Yes from a cooling fan. Nah there's no easy way to open it unfortunately. It is possible but you need some specialized tools -- look at Adam De Lay's video for how he did it

Try using vicatron battery monitor which you connect to battery, so we how many watts are released when using the inverter.

What is the idle power consumption?
I can't find anything in the manual about this, but I know it turns itself off after a stretch of no use. I suspect the BMS enters a sleep mode of sorts where power consumption is very low

Why not run actual ac and dc discharge tests? Knowing it's actual capacity and inverter efficiency is more important
Does anyone know which Anker model power station will I need to run my JBL part box Ultimate Bluetooth speaker which is 1100 watts RMS and weighs 40kg.
If you have a wall outlet meter, your best bet is to plug the jbl ultimate into that and then plug it into the wall outlet in your house and blast that shit to the volumes you'll be playing at and the average wattage it displays you multiply until it meets the wh rating of this anker C1000. Technically it'd be like 840 wh due to the power factor variability of power stations so roughly 20% off the rated wh of the anker C1000. My jbl partybox 320 averages around 80 to 90 watts full blast which is nowhere near the rated 240 watts of power it says it uses which is good for me in case I take it camping or to the beach I can use it all day

Yeah that's definitely in the pricier range for these sorts of batteries given how cheap they've gotten in the past couple years
Buy another unit and daisy chain them..
I agree. Probably worth it just to buy another unit. Don't even need to chain them, can use it separately.

If your EV charger plugs into a 120V outlet and uses 1800W or less than it should work just fine
