Poker in Minecraft (Texas Hold'em) | Minecraft Bedrock Tutorial

Disclaimer:This Only works on the Bedrock Version of Minecraft. So Dont build this on Java.

Rules of Texas Hold'em (Minecraft Edition)
1.) First have players put in a starting bet(1 diamond works best)
2.)Go around the table drawing 2 card each(don't share with others)
3.)Head of Table draws 2 cards to be in the middle of the table
4.)Go around the table and either raise, match, or fold.
5.)When it gets back to Head of Table, Add another card to the Middle
6.)Repeat 4-5 Until there are 5 cards in the middle
7.) on the final round you can raise match or fold, and whoever is still left will show there cards and work with this scoring.
Highest to Lowest
4 of a Kind - 4 of the same cards
Full House - 3 of a kind and 2 of a kind
Strait - 5 Cards in Numerical Order (like 4,5,6,7,8)
3 of a Kind - 3 of the same cards
2 Pair - 2 pairs of cards
1 Pair - 2 of the same cards(a pair)
High Card - 9 is Highest, 1 being the Lowest.

This is a simplified version of poker to make it easier to understand and make it easier to build, so this doesn't have suits. Almost like a beginners game of poker lol. I'd love to make a design with suits but it would be more complicated no doubt. But I'll see what I can do

Does this still work, I built it but the hopper doesn't push the items to the dropper and just keeps them in the hopper

It should work, perhaps you placed the hopper in the wrong direction? Maybe some other Redstone line is interfering with it, If it's neither of those things I'd probably rebuild it and go slower to get it right.

I was very confused when I saw no suit on the cards, pretty hard to get a flush if they are all the same. (or 100% guaranteed, I cant decide.) great design though mate.

Yeah, I've tried doing a suited design, but this is the only way to make the cards be actually random without a huge build. It's a shame, but even without suits it can still be fun. If you just ignore the flushes :)

@@cardsatanywhere363 there are only 9 different cards you could have because there is only 1 dropper, it's just space that's the problem, because it would need 52 slots, but this table can only have 9

Well you can use custom made maps, showing a number next to a symbol with a white background. 2 problems with this idea though is
1. You gonna need a wool farm if on survival
2. You cant fit 52 different cards in the storage system (except if you improvise on that)

When I flick the lever, the dropper gets pushed into one of the table blocks

I'm confused to you problem, the table is above the dropper. Maybe you could Clarify better? Sorry I can't help, maybe try rebuilding it

Not on this design sadly, maybe I can make a more complex design in the future. But for now I just have 1-9 to make it as compact and user friendly as possible :)

the lever that is supposed to drop the cards into the dropper isn't working for some reason and I checked, I did everything right (also I play on Bedrock)

Sadly no since you can't move the dispenser on Java. You could use it in Java, but it would be hard to reload the system
