This is such a sweet and funny in-game/in-novel costume production with good actors and an interesting storyline (for a short story like this). I loved this peppy/smart/resourceful FL and warm/nice/supportive ML. Despite the heavy advertising (and I really mean heavy) and somewhat bad subs, it is actually entertaining to watch. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is given a chance to play the Crown Princess in a game/novel where the heroine finds out that the man she thought she was going to marry, unexpectedly turned around and married another woman. The heroine was then given to his brother, the Crown Prince instead. Not wanting to marry a man she didn’t love, she committed suicide by jumping into a well. FL is told that she is free to either help the Crown Prince seize the throne or fight with the concubines. Thinking about all the Palace fight scenes she’s seen, she agrees to play, receives the period dress and starts the game. Or at least she should have, but in her eagerness to play, she accidentally slips and falls into a well. When she wakes up, she seems to have transmigrated into ancient times. She realizes that she is now in the story at a time right after the Crown Princess was rescued from her suicide attempt. Her initial thoughts were to go against the Crown Prince (ML), but when she overhears the Prince (2ML) who the original heroine had been in love with for ten years gloat about her jumping into a well for him at his brother, the Crown Prince’s house, potentially creating big trouble for her “unwanted” husband, she changes her perspective. She ends up beating 2ML up before showing him the door - much to her husband’s pleasure. Now she plans to support ML in ascending the throne one day - and everything depends on her making enough money to surpass 2ML. Well, this has a happy ending.
