  • One thing I love to do while traveling is exploring every cities transportation system, which includes subways! I love navigating through a cities subway and metro system. I have visited many metros around the World and I wanted to share with you one of my favorite ones! Shenzhen's metro is simple and straight forward. Clean and welcoming to travelers from around the World. Follow me as I explore and explain how the metro in Shenzhen China works.
Welcome to my channel! I'm Patrick and this is Patmax Adventures! I'm originally from California and have been living abroad for the past four years. I decided to start this channel to share my experiences and passion for travel with others. My goal with this channel is to share and show as much as I can of the World. My focus will always be on the culture, food and of course the local people of everywhere I travel to! I'm an optimist and always try to highlight the positives of a place rather than just the negatives.Though I will also be bluntly honest at times too! If you love travel and exploring far away places, then you found the right place!
Join me in living every moment to the Max!! ^^

2:50 In fact, the main payment method of this smart terminal introduced here is the brush-face payment(刷脸支付). The several payment methods you introduced are only alternatives. You can pay by using Alipay brush face, without any other mobile phones or wallets.
And if you want to buy easycard, you can buy electronic virtual cards on your mobile phone instead of paper ones , because the paper version is not portable and can only be recharged in larger denomination. Electronic virtual cards can be recharged in small denomination at any time through electronic payment, but your mobile phone need to support NFC functions.
Of course, If you have a Wechat account, it will be more convenient. you can use Wechat to sweep the code without NFC.
By the way, all payment methods except cash payment are discounted.

The speed of growth of this system in particular is insane. Of course East Asia in general develops quickly, but Shenzhen is even crazier. This is probably due to China not having to deal with NIMBY's, and their crazy technology they use to speed build these things. By 2030 Shenzhen metro will have 32 lines, more than tripling its current number of lines.

U can show the QR code of APP and scan the entrance machine to take the subway and when u get off the train, u just open the APP and show the QR code to scan the exit machine, the fee will be deducted automatically . U don't need to buy any ticket just use your phone to take the subway.

Nice video. I don't quite understand why good people should worry about cameras in public place. Why should the operator behind keep watching you if you are not guilty? It just records any criminal behavior, keeps evidence so you can be very safe in those areas. If someone pick-pocket you, I don't really think he can easily walk out of the station.
