    This is a 7 year old video but really helpful. I have a large crack on a stone countertop (not sure what material-- It's faux Corian - which is a solid cream color. Hoping this method works on it!

      I believe it would. It takes up the color behind it. So if it is solid surface it will cover it

    Thanks for the video. It would be suggested to show the dried cured repairs at an angle in the light.

    Hello RV Enthusiast- just found this great video. Could this work on beige-ish cultured marble, molded in bathroom sink? Have 3 divits in sink and would save a lot of money without replacing otherwise good material.

    Hi great video! We just picked up a marble table for free that has a large gaping hole in the corner and we don’t have the missing piece to put it back together :(. Do you think this would work for that?

    Just found this video. The granite countertop in our recently purchased home is quite worn in some areas(lots of pits that go below the polished surface). Would this method work? If yes how long would the repair last?

    I tried your method on my quartz table top and it’s worked brilliantly. Mine had 2 big holes and had split completely. Can’t see any crack or holes now. Thank you. England U.K

      Sorry I did not do that! It works great on small chips...it you bad a boulder to remove, not so sure it would be shinny. on a small one its pretty good repair.

    Hi! This is great info. I tried using an epoxy to repair a small granite crack but it was too small. Superglue is my next step. Just one question: would you suggest masking off the are around a crack with masking tape first for a long very thin crack? Or is that asking for trouble?

      Desiree, If it’s a hairline crack on a flat surface(Top), I would not mask it off. Thanks for subbing too.

    I have white quartz countertop with a slight impact. Looks like someone was picking at something and dug a slight pitted scratch. Would this work? I was told to use a clear stone filler. Awesome video btw

      Yep. Should work just fine.. if you can use a super glue catalyst from like a hobby store. It will be great

    So does the Enrich and Seal fill in those natural nooks and crannies that are seen in granite? I really would like to try this as our granite countertops were never sealed professionally when they were installed 16 years ago. The wimpy spray sealers marketed to the consumer isn’t cutting it. Thanks for the help.

      It works great to seal and enhance the look, as for filling them in...Very little, maybe some. When you use it make sure to follow the directions and let it cure for 24 hours after wiping it quasi dry..Just did it 2 days ago to sell the house and the granite looked fantastic.

    I am planning to fill sandblasted letters on dark blackish granite, do you reckon it will fill just fine without being able to tell there were letters there? As compared to filling natural random patterned holes?
    Considering using this baking soda technique over perhaps resin.

      Mike, I do not know the answer to your question. It does help it is busy. One color might show. If the gauge is not deep it might work ok. Sorry.

    Nice video - chipped my caesarstone countertop on the edge however, not the surface. Do you recommend this method as well?

      I would think so. the super glus just needs to bond and hold on.

      UP and ADAM looks like it needs to be thicker than glue to build up the edge, did it work for you?

      I read another site which said for edges, a high viscosity epoxy should be used. I believe that just means it's thicker? so it doesn't drip. I have a damaged edge too, which is why I found this video. Titch, did it work for you?

    I know you did the Quartz repair video 4 years ago but i need the help now and you seem to hit the spot better than others I have seen. Will this method work if I have big, (1/2 inch), chips at the edges of my quartz not in the field as this video teaches. I am thinking it may work if I do it in little lifts of 1/64 or so at a time. what do you think about using your technique for corner chips?

      I have fixed chips that large. it is just slower and the methode you describe is perfect

    Can I do this method for crack (long crack but not deep)near the sink...I'm afraid water might slide and start separating the crack...so will this seal ?

    Wow. I gotta try this. I have a white quartz and just chipped it at the corner. Do you think it will take up the white color completely? Or would it be a little different color?

      most likely will yellow some if there is UV near by.

      It may ..Go to a hobby shop and get a super glue catalist. small bottle about 8 bucks and it will not change the color.

    Great video.
    Can this super glue and baking soda be done on a car windshield?
    Does the Enrich and Seal darken the granite or the colours remain true? I want a product that does not darken the granite, but Seals it and gives it depth... -Chris

      I would not do it on a windshield. Not sure on that. The enrich and seal shines protects and enhances.. It has never darkened anything I have used it on. It is my favorite.

      Yes, It works really well on white quartz. My bathroom is white and has sparkle spects and it works awesome.

    I have a question
    The glue is transparent in colour.
    How to make it to the same colour of the granite?

      Yep the glue is transparent, so it picks up the color from the divot. Granite is solid surface so the color is throughout the piece. I have done many pieces and have not found one that was not significantly better than the chip. I was looking at my quartz yesterday trying to find the chip I repaired several years ago and could not find it.

    IS THIS UNTREATED GRANITE? CAN U DO IT ON SINK EDGE AND UNTREATED? is it ok on brown granite?

      I have done it on all of the mentioned. My first job was on a brown granite. If its oozing out get a quick superglue catalyst from a hobby shop. It will harden it pretty instantly.

    Only use the transparent one for filling defects, right?

      baking soda is the catalyst to harden the glue.
      You could go to hobby shop and get the catalyst and that would work great. either one

      And if the defect is bigger than yours, or a a long linear defect, does it still work good?
      And how to avoid/get rid of bubbles if they appear from the glue?

      it will repair it you just have to work it. most of my chips have been edge chips.

      you will see the fracture, but it would seal it for you.

    Super glue. With baking soda will turn a amber color over a few months
    Use super glue alone. Let dry by it's self for a hour or longer.
    Otherwise get an accelerator up Amazon

      Not sure on the long term yellowing. My granite is Ubatuba and you can not see yellowing at all. I do lita a accelerator better than anything else. I have never been patient enough to let it just dry naturally.LOL. Great feedback too.

    I just tried this and I can still see the crack line. The super glue is transparent.. I have a semi white quartz countertop. It has a hairline crack about a foot long. Is there anything else I can do to hide the black crack line? Thank you.

      Another way I know is to take baking soda and mix the super glue into it. it heats up so work fast and use it as a paste in the crack. seach it on CZcams...it looks easy enough good luck!

      if its granite the methode I used will not scratch it. granite would be damaged if you press hard and go side to side not flipping the razor blide like I show. thanks for the comment and asking the question.

      It is exactly the way Precision Granite in Tualatin Oregon does it. I have done many chip repairs and it works great. Is it perfect? Maybe not but it cost next to nothing todo and it works.
