Shenandoah Smallmouth Summer Shananagins

Great trip on the river with good company on this one. I rode my Jackson Karma, Tim ws on the Ocean kayak Prowler 13 & Marquis & Morgan were on the Ocean kayak Malibu 2. We pretty much all caught smallies, had a great time ! We all there whopper ploppers all day for the most part. Marquis & Morgan had never done anything like this before so it was cool to put them on the water. Tim was there last year when I caught 2 trophy smallies on this run in one trip. There were 2 anglers ahead of us , & I think that definitely played a part in it being a slower day on the river given the conditions. It was even cooler they both got to catch some smallies on topwater.
