    Quincy's double is hands down the best track one day double in prep history. I say this as a fifty year fan of the sport, with a slight bias to distance events. Truly epic performance, by him AND his teammates.

      I agree. Wilson ran two, back-to-back, 44-splits within 5 hours. Most college athletes can't do this.

    It was the officials fault. He was not stacking the athletes in order and it caused them to have to cross in front of each other. It happened twice between 2-3 leg and 3-4. The official screwed up!

    BULLIS GOT ALL THE HOME FIELD CALLS, THE WOMENS 4X4 WAS RUNNING DIRTY, FROM BATTON HUNTING BY 3RD LEG RUNNER TO OBVIOUS LANE VIOLATIONS BY THE ANCHOR RUNNER, BUT IT WAS HELLA EXCITING THOUGH, !!!🕷

    Don’t yall not realized by now that USA is biased. Thank goodness for social media. I recall back in the 80 which ignited my appetite for going to Penn Relays because the American media never showed the stand. Mind you the majority of spectators are Jamaican (Caribbean ) folks. Thank good news for social media, we see the stand if we are not in the stands.

      That's an ignorant statement respectful, l am a fan and have competed at Penn Relays at both the high school and college level. It has always been great support and admiration for athletes at the relays . US is not bias and has always mentioned the large support of jamaican fan at the relays live and on TV. Now what l have never seen is two runners of the same team fall in the trial and finals at the relays .

      In all fairness, without Jamaicans bringing the competition and the lively ness to track and field no one would even pay much attention to anyone else . There are talents all over . Pole vault, 400 Hurdles men. 1500 meter long distance etc. But Jamaicans brings a different light to this sport so let's just spread the love.

    Yeah but Edwin Allen as a similar mis op. They were the winner at Jamaica high school champs. So they were destined to win the 4x400m relays also. So things happen with a race where they can be contact .

    Listen , it is going to be tougher on Bullis to win the 4x400m at Penns next year as Kingston College will have two guys splitting 44 point on their legs , another guy will be splitting 45 point and another will be splitting 47 point. No team will beat KC next year again.

    • @dlawrengreen
      @dlawrengreen Před měsícem +2

      Bullis's team is young. The other legs currently split in the 47 range when they don't fall.

    Stop with your biased commentary. What race were you watching. Go with it again. Excelsior was in first, they handed off the baton before bulls. The out going runner for bullis tripped the in coming runner for Excelsior when he was collecting his baton and trying to turn at the same time. The Excelsior runner fell and when he turned around he fell. Excelsior did not fall over his own feet and he was in front. Stop being biased. I do agree that Quincy is the real deal. Go re watch the race , slow it down, pause and come again

      That is so untrue. The outgoing Bullis runner had nothing to do with the tripping. One Excelsior runner tripped the other, causing him to fall directly in front of Bullis runner....look at the film.
