Elfen Lied opening version Umineko I made a Umineko version of the Elfen Lied opening for fun. It's not perfect, but I made in a few days it just to relax.
THIS IS VERY ! I love how either Battler or Beatrice is blacked out whenever they are embracing each other in the video, really sells the theme of tragic love for both of them.
During EP4, Beatrice has a lot of doubts regarding Battler and if it's still really him or not after losing his memory and start to give up. That's why I thought it would be perfect for them :D
Where do I begin omg . . . this is GENIUS. (My comment might contain Umineko spoilers ahead ! !) I'm not going to analyze everything but rather highlight what caught my attention the most. Okay first of all, the way you drew the characters to marry both Elfen Lied OP and Umineko themes is just PERFECT. The fact that you put parts of the epitaph on the borders instead of the latin words from the OP is also a great detail, and of course Beato hugging Battler replicating the Klimt paintings. Also, the characters from Elfen Lied that you substitued with Ange, Lambda and Maria were a great detail as well, and the "beatus vir qui suffert tentationem" at 0:28 with Beato and Battler on screen just hits different ohhhghghgjh I can't, I can't..... then AT 0:50 BEATO WITH THE LOOSEN HAIR AND IN THAT POSE GAVE ME GOOSEBUMPS OMG THAT WAS SO GOOD I LOVE IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. AND LAST, WHAT KILLED ME THE MOST. AT 1:20 when it says "quan amoena o castitas lilium" and the camera zooms to Beato's hips like the original opening . . . . it's the combo of the sang word "castitas" with that zoom, because of what happened to her. Everything is just perfectly on theme AGHHHH great job Azumin, this is amazing 😭😭😭💖

@@myuu_art To match the original opening as much as I could, I really thought the theme of the whole video would be perfect with Beatrice's mental state at the ending of EP4. This part of the story still break my heart. Beatrice try to be strong, but just want to give up. Battler is here, but she's not sure it's really him anymore after he forgot who he was and even if she's doing her best to make him remember through the different games, she don't have the strengh anymore and is so afraid... I love her so much ;-;
