As a huge fan of the movie, and after listening to the official iTunes release, I really craved something much closer to the feeling we all shared in the theater during the 'docking scene'. Several fan versions have popped up that, imho, have taken too many creative liberties from the version we heard in the theater. After being inspired by novum's version, where he simply added the choir, I decided to go a step further and crank up the Organ. Please enjoy!

Did you count the real rotation speed ? ;-) It's not 68 rpm. That would be less than a second per round.

But the Endurance takes about 2.5 to 3 second for one round. That makes 20 to 24 rpm.

I saw this at the Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC at there IMAX screen and I got to sit right under 1 of the 5 massive speakers this song had my heart pump and I was just holding my breath waiting.

In his last deep sleep he thought he would never wake up, and when he did, had a nervous breakdown, only maintaining enough sanity to try and complete what he perceived as his mission, much can be lost in quiet desperation.

Why Hans chose not to use the choir for the itunes version i have no idea, this sounds much more intense than the itunes
Been searching for a while for this version, it's really much more intense
That's one thing i hate about Hans zimmer is that his music is always different from what you hear in the film. He edits it for the album release makes no sense to, if i see a movie and like what i hear in the music i want to hear exactly that. He did the same thing in the dark knight rises

Reminds me on my space station I've build in a orbit of a planet in Space Engineers, suddenly realizing that it starts moving after getting hit by a rough docking process with my mining ship, addiotionally getting attracted by the gravity of the planet and i had to craft and install some thrusters before it's going to crash. This song would fit perfectly to such a situation.

Dude this is the closest one BUT near the end the organs aren't loud enough and get overwhelmed by the strings... I've been listening to the movie version and the organs are distinguishable to the end. Still congrats because this is really the closest one.
