Wow, Lisa Butzlaff. Just finished listening to the splendid Anna Lapwood harp interpretation of this with the Oxford High School string orchestra. I truly like the flute version better. The intention behind the original musical message by Mr. John Rutter somehow carries better with the flute rather than the harp. Although both are very beautiful.
Thank you very much! I like also the harp version, but for me it sounds like just different piece. May be because the harp mix more into the strings sound. The flute sound is "flying over". I think all flutist are happy about this enrichment of our repertoire.
