- Another video in the series how to solve a system of Ordinary Differential Equations. This video discusses what to do with repeated Eigenvalues and the general solutions that result. For more math shorts go to www.MathByFives.com
LOL I was constantly facepalming but I actually got it - really good work, thank you, man!
@Mathbyfives you are absolutely off the rails crazy. i love it
doing it for you. keep watching
This is exactly what I needed. Thanks Mr.
All the videos of yours that I have seen are very informative and well explained. Thank you for doing these.
Moejoe Joejoe thanks
I've been watching your videos for like 3 years now, thanks for all your work.
Also I actually acted the exact same way when I explained math to myself because I was incredibly bored and it was a great way to self amuse while being productive so you're like my inner voice given flesh
You condensed a 40 min lecture into 8 minutes and made it even clearer. You're awesome!!!
#efficient
nice to hear some kind words from time to time. Too many trolls out there. thanks for the comment. I thumbed it up.
RREF on a calculator stands for Reduced Row Echelon Form. This is when you do your best to reduce the matrix via valid row operations down to a diagonal matrix of 1s. However it doesn't always reduce perfectly, and you'll get examples like the first problem where you end up with an open relation between variables instead.
this is freaking amazing. You saved my grade!!!
Aaahhhhhhaaaaaaa
Great video. Thank you for clearing up a lot of concepts as I study for my exam.
People either love or hate your voice, I am definitely the lover of your voice! It is so cheerful and makes the boring stuff funny!
very helpful! fast and clear, love this! and the attitude! thanks a lot :]
@DefaultWorldWide not quite sure what you mean... Thanks for choosing Math by Fives
you made everything so easy oookayyy thanks!
Good Job Buddy
I wish if you did a 3x3 repeated eigenvalue example 😥. But thanks.
I am so angry at my professor and other youtube explanations for being so complicated, but so happy with yours at the same time for clarifying eigen vectors up, it is a very confusing feeling. Thank you.
WateryIce54321 its good to see explanations different sometimes.
one day i will have the time to complete the linear algebra series. till then thanks for choosing MBF and keep watching.
Thanks for the help!
You sir are a lifesaver.
Doing it for you. Thanks for choosing MBF.
lol you are awesome buddy this is my first here and i loved you much :DD ooo key
Nicely summarized!
krisdestruction thanks
Nice video. Nice teaching skill. Appreciated the effort. Thank you .
Dang! I was surprised, but I actually understood! I read the book for a half hour, gave up and came here and learned the second part in 3 minutes. Nice!
holy crap your vocal inflections are weird..... but at least I understand now. thanks!
Thank you a lot :)
Good luck on your exam, Keep watching.
Hey,plz help me.for repeated eigenvalues, you first chose X=0 then y=0,what if I chose z=0, instead of y.that also gives rise to two linearly independent Eigen vectors.
thnx :)
thts was a great video
RREF is reduced row echelon form. It's ultimately the solution a system of equations in the form Ax = b.
"That's worthy.... OF A BOX" XD
Greetings From Germany, You made my day, Thanks alot
+NeinNein thanks for the German shout out
nice!
awesome..love the writing too, i wish my ODE prof wrote this neat -.-
What would the solution X_3 look like if the multiplicity is 3
Absolutely! nuttier then squirrel poop.
They should make a movie where mathbyfives becomes the new math professor at a really stuffy university and turns the place completely upside down.
This guy handles maths like its a piece of cake
you made my semester
Dude i like ur voice. Seriously! You are cool
you are awesome because of the voices you make in between. original and not fake. keep it up. avoid the dislikers. keep doing awesome job...
Thank you so much for your explanations, and you are very funny thats cooool
What exactly happens when you use the "rref" button on the calculator? my instructor never uses calculators and i've taken a lot of classes with him so i eventually also stopped using them.
Infuriating voice... awesome lecture.
Keep going.
You do you.
For the same Eigen values general solution must contain. C1+xC2+x^2C3 like this. But you didn't write. Make sure you will rectify if I am correct.
not sure how to take this...
can you please explain for this matrix [2 1 6;0 2 5;0 0 2]
Cuz you watched and learned from it
thank you
I love love love love linear algebra...
Nanch833530 Love^3
as far as i know (its definitely true in my case) they don't let you use calculators any of the calcs or Diff EQ at most engineering schools.
thanks dude. my final is tomorrow
greetings from Saudi Arabia , KFUPM to be exact.
Thanks for the shout out form Saudi Arabia! Hope your exam went well.
@23youwatch :)
I just cant get this to work on a 3x3
awsom
Towards the end you did know what you are saying. It did not match with what you wrote?
ohhhh kayyyyyyyyyyyyy
thanks sir ^_^
I would recommend you remove the background music in future videos, I think you would get more views. Good job though.
mathbyvibes
he knows about young jeezy and lil boosie! thats why STEM teachers are the business!
yes you can
Eiiiighhttt
Greeaattt!!
unique fo sho
But wait, there's more!
Oh yeaa~ Thatsss worthy.... of a boxxxxx (: .... Oh come on markerrrrr arrrghhhhhhhh ):
very informative! thank you for such a detailed and well explained video
Dude there are more than two case. You don't have the three repeated eigenvalue as well, which has an addition three more cases. I'm needing the one with two KK.
allllrighttt! okaaaaaaay
Helpful and informative. Thanks.
What's with your manner of speech though? To put it lightly, it was rather distracting. Not so lightly would involve me saying things I would prefer not to say to somebody I found helpful.
Dude you are F@#cking Hilarious! thanks for the help Ahaaaaa(mathbyfives voice).lol
@gvsfgdf carful about doing to much math you could end up like me.
like if ur an engineer!
haha amazing
nah, smart people are always "different". Thanks for the vid! wtf @1:10!
What is he doing! WTF , am out, don't need your help
this guy talks gay..............
