Por que siempre que algún programa estadounidense graba algo de algun país latinoamericano ponen la luz en sepia??? 😖😖😖 son muy clichés.
En la teoría del color representa el miedo,la enfermedad y el peligro, así nos ven y nos representan.
Nos ven como paises pobres, y esque es la verdad y mas en el área de salud. Y pues es la manera de representarlo. Como dice el compañero de arriba es parte de la psicologia del color el hacerlo asi. Aunque lo veas como “cliché” en las peliculas, series, diseño gráfico, etc. Todos los elementos se utilizan con el fin de comunicar algo y transmitir esa idea, en la colorimetria, incluso en la vestimenta, escenarios, etc.
Igual y no es siempre, depende el contexto hay peliculas en donde no necesariamente se muestran los paises latinos en ese tono que mencionas.
En lo personal siento que es con fines comunicativos jaja, de esa misma forma se representa el “viejo oeste” por ejemplo. Y lo futurista y tecnologico con azules y morados. etc. 🤷🏻♀️

Si te das cuenta, si llegan a una zona desarrollada de Latinoamérica, no aplican ese filtro. En New Amsterdam cuando viajaron a Nuevo León (exactamente Monterrey si no mal recuerdo), fueron a un hospital privado y no se aplicó ningún filtro al mostrar el panorama de la ciudad.
Jajajaja no frieguen, tal vez si somos del tercer mundo pero en xela hay un buen hospital 🤣 jajaja

Ellos fueron específicamente a una aldea, y por experiencia como traductora e intérprete en jornadas médicas, puedo decirte que si hay centros de salud que no están bien acondicionados para los pacientes.

Funny thing is, they use that filter to make audiences feel the "warmth" of where a scene is supposed to take place (of course this stems from them assuming all Latin countries are hot and dry), but the part of Guatemala they're traveling to is very mountainous and cold and thus shouldn't have that filter...

Nortaron que Shoun dice Guatemala y no guaremala como se pronuncia en ingles? Esto es porque el maneja bien el idioma español.
Bueno por que quizá el ingles que tiene es Britanico y como sabremos los Britanicos pronuncian muy fuerte las T y por que domina bien el español.

I love this show but the filter? Seriously? When will western tv shows/movies stop presenting Latin America like a dangerous, poor, underdeveloped desert? I mean, some parts are like that, but not everywhere and seeing your country/community being represented with the same cliche gets annoying, it's either that or the "exotic" holiday destination that involves narcos, there's not in between.
That's America for you. Australia always portrayed with kangaroos everywhere and everyone speaks slang that hasn't been in common use for decades. They are just ignorant.

She may have just wanted to be by herself a bit, the loss of the baby doesn't just go away yet. She could have just gone along to volunteer and help the others. In a lot of these shows the mom usually does so after losing her baby, remember in Grey's anatomy when April went to join the army after losing Samuel. Lea may not be a doctor but she is totally a people person, sometimes that's the best medicine a person needs, especially after the year we've all had.
Because they may want to keep there luggage with themselves, it she had to go away from shaun, she wouldn't have selected the seat just behind him
