grunge is a life style due to people in Washington being poor and since they couldn't afford much, most of their clothing was from thrift stores, faded, ripped, and worn out so they had a generally unkempt appearance

+Nathan Webb i totally agree. so many people with "grunge" looks spend like $80 on a denim jacket...like ppl you're doing it wrong. go to a thrift store and get things that look just as worn for less than $5

its funny seeing what I wore in highschool (and still) now being in style. My teen years was the 90s. we wore converse because it was cheap...same with flannel shirts ect. Most of us grunge kids were to poor to afford the name brand sh@$ so we got picked on. Now its fashion.
In what mad world are Converse _cheap?_ Man, the 90s were a different time, apparently.
@@lilacpen8678 you used to be able to get converse for 15-20 dollars a pair. They were considered punk shoes and was often worn by poor kids.

I was a teen during the Grunge era. Yes it's music.but the music was so powerful it inspired the fashion. So it's the same thing. Ppl need to calm down. You did a great job. I would have totally warn those outfits during that time and now for that matter.

I love these outfits! uhg theyre all perfect and you pull them all off very well. I find most of my stuff at charity stores and thrift stores. It feels better to me than buying them from a mall or proper shop.
