There used to be in the past. Just Yerevan had a jerk major that had cut a lot of trees (how much I know). Now that the major is a good guy, we are trying to make Yerevan green again. (Also sorry if my English is bad)
Hello, John, a very nice bird's eye view of the " élite". Unfortunately, the so called " yerevan élite" cropped up in the last 25 years looks good only at a distance.... Cheers.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of trees or greenery in Yerevan, even in the wealthy areas.
