@CeceSaysHi_950 I disregard the whataboutism of the other politicians, but there's no actual evidence of those allegations, just accounts of members with obvious conflicts of interest. Almost crazy how much character assassination happened as soon as he retired, but it was unsurprisingly pretty convenient for the tory government

Right honourable is a member of the Privy Council.

@mattwood1562 Well, it might surprise you to learn that there is no actual tangible evidence; so it might be a better friend of yours.
There's a spam of complaints from several people (not all of which were upheld anyway), and yet not one thing that independently suggests any of the alleged and very out of character events ever occurring. The possibility and indeed likelihood remains that this was a co-ordinated effort out of spite.
Fundamentally the investigation (which wasn't a judicial investigation by any means) didn't have any real purpose except from having political consequences (in which it was well known that his political ambitions were well behind him before any of this), almost as if it were poised to sway public opinion. At the very least, you have to accept that the evidentiary strength is as strong with this possibility as much as it is with what the investigation decided was true (which is to say, there's no solid evidence for either)
